My reservation is for Monday, May 22. I paid for two pieces of luggage to be checked in. My husband is disabled and I have been troubled with having to pick up and check in again the luggage at Gatwick Airport. I chose to give the luggage to my daughter who will be coming 12 days later. I requested a refund for the paid checked-in luggage and was refused. They offer an incentive to have you check in luggage with the reservation but will not refund if there is a change and you do not check in the luggage. There is something wrong with this picture. To check in luggage should be an option up to the last minute. Should not be forced in this manner to check them in or force me to lose $160. Unbelievable! Airlines is not customer friendly. People should think twice before booking with them. I will lose $160 because I changed my situation so that I can better handle the responsibility of my husband. Easyjet is very unbending. I plan to proceed with my complain and try to take this as far as i can. Hopefully it will make a difference for other customers.
