OK so I normally don't say anything about a business but I feel the need to tell you guys to not fly with spirit airlines!! I normally always choose delta or southwest but my cutie of a husband didn't check what airline it was when he bought the tickets....he knows I have never wanted to try spirit... OK people yes it might be cheaper when you buy your ticket but at the end you will pay more! I had to pay $100 to bring in my luggage and then $100 for a carry on (I asked the worker if they would charge me for my carry on and he said no, well he lied)! That alone is $200 more on the flight! I would rather pay $250 more for a flight where I am comfortable! These seats don't recline, the staff is rude, the seats r so close together I think they think you have no legs! People if you want to fly don't do spirit!!! They charge for everything!! EDITORS COMMENT: Sounds to me like you didn't pre-purchase checked baggage or hand luggage and you got slugged with very high charges at the airport. To be fair all of this is clearly stated in the booking process (I know you didn't book it yourself) but this is an ultra low cost airline and they do charge for everything - its how they make their money - a business cant stay afloat on airfares that low alone.
