I have bought a ticket on February 8th 2017 for me and my three kids to go from Portland (Oregon, USA) to Barcelona, Spain. My departure date was June/28th 2017 I have bought my tickets through Egencia (travel itinerary 7242927051007) and most of the trip was with Air Canada. While purchasing the tickets I was asked to provide passport details for me and my three kids (we are all Italian citizens) I have purchased 4 round trip tickets for all of us and the itinerary was through Toronto (Canada) both on the way out and our return When I have purchased the ticket, I have received a notification from Expedia that we were all set to go, with no indication that additional documentation was required. When I went on June 28th/2017 to the Air Canada Check in desk in the Portland airport (PDX), I was told by the Air Canada representative that we needed Canada Visa since we were in transit through Toronto I have complained and I have showed the email in which we had purchased the tickets and in which there was no mention about the VISA The Air Canada representative could not care less and said that if we did not provide Canada VISA in the next 30 minutes we would not be allowed on the
