Hi, the worst experience ever I had by travelling with Kuwait airways. Rude staff full of attitude and sounded like they were serving people free of cost. I just asked for a cup of tea from a crew member who was Arabic. He gave me the dirtiest look ever he could and said something in Arabic which of course I didn’t understand. His colleague ( from Indian origin) followed him and she witnessed this happening. She just apologised to me and just moved on. Kuwait airways, I paid for my ticket and wouldn’t like to be treated like that being a women. Please train your staff to respect their passengers and if they are tired then please give them time off so that they don’t take their frustration out on passengers like me. Very disappointed and will never recommend to travel by this airline. Although my flight back to UK is again with Kuwait airways and I have to bare with it! 😞

Superb airline to fly with, We recently flew on Kuwait Airways flight 135 from Kuwait to Barcelona. Everything about the trip was beyond expectations. Transit through the airport and boarding was a breeze. Cabin service was exceptional. Staff were attentive to every need. The aircraft was new and spacious. The meal was delicious. Rarely have we had such a pleasant flight. I would highly recommend Kuwait Airways to fly with.

Kuwait Airways is by far the worst airline there is. They have no customer support. The customer support, which they say they have, is just a bot generating absolute gibberish replies to unrelated topic. At Munich Airport, there was not a single center that entertained Kuwait Airways for lost baggage. I filled the Property Irregularity Report and handed it to the AHS at Munich Airport and notified Kuwait Airways of my lost baggage online through their email, their website contact as well as their WhatsApp, but I received no reply. After 8 days, I received one of the two bags at my residence in Munich, and 10 days after that, I received my second bag which (was totally new) had its zips broken, locks broken, the bag was a mess inside with the inner shielding broken, practically useless. I had initially complained for lost baggage and then I applied for compensation for delayed and damaged baggage. My constant messages and emails were ignored by their customer relations department. No compensation was given and from what I've heard, I am not the only victim of Kuwaiti mistreatment. Totally absurd. Abysmal service. The worst!

The flight was on the latest A330-800neo aircraft operated by Kuwait Airways from Kuwait to Bangkok in business class. The seats were comfortable and larger compared to some other airlines, and the cabin crew were friendly and welcomed the passengers beautifully. The food was delicious and the varieties were varied. The entertainment lacked some modernization, but it was good. For me, I recommend traveling on Kuwait Airways and trying it after the modernization of the fleet in recent years and its significant development.

Worst experience ever travelling with Kuwait Airways, at Delhi Airport, Kuwait Airways staff troubled us with baggage allowance issue knowing that we have baby travelling with us. We somehow tried to sort out the things with baggage , the ground staff was standing near us looking into our bags and asking us that are you done, knowing we have baby with us who was crying , still we managed to do quickly , after reaching Istanbul Airport , we found that our bag was torn down and found that my expensive watch was stolen and small pouch zip was open. We wrote a complaint mail to Kuwait Airways but till date no satisfactory response has been received by them. I will not recommend Kuwait Airways.

We flew from germany to Thailand on the airline. Really good flight, the airport was small but very cosy, there is a transit lounge, lots of seating areas. The food was good and so were the staff. I recommend bringing an ipad with films installed, they need more watchable content.

Really good on the 777, the food was great, the staff were more than happy to help with issues we had. The flight was very smooth, I landed 4 times and never felt it till the plane started slowing down. The only issue is the entertainment so I’d recommend downloading a few shows from Netflix.

On arriving at Heathrow terminal 4 (1.17 hours before my flight departure) I was told by a rude and uneducated man who works for Kuwait Airways that my flight had closed. A Dan Adwani said I was too late to check in. He said the desk were checking in passengers (the people in the queue) for a later flight. He told me that I could not join the queue and I could not speak to another member of staff on the check in desk. I informed him that it was over an hour to my flight departure... therefore I was not late. He said I was, and that I needed to step aside, “go over there” waving his hand dismissively and book another ticket for a later flight. Most people with a hint of empathy can imagine that at this point I was upset and anxious as I weighed up both the financial implications due to purchasing another ticket, and the work implications as a result of arriving in Kuwait a day late and missing work. Therefore, I ignored this inept Kuwait Airways employee, and spoke to a woman on the check in desk. My attempts to reach her were comical as Dan Adwani attempted to block my path the whole way while raising his voice to bark orders at me. To my surprise, the woman at the desk informed me that my flight was open. Even more outrageously, everyone in the queue was getting on the same flight and the people joining the queue after I had arrived were also getting on the same flight. It was at this point I joined the line to check in. The unsavoury man, Dan Adwani, rushed over to what I later learned was his supervisors during my exchange with the woman behind the desk. He later returned at my side to inform me that he would “allow me” to check in, but the incident was my fault, I should have got there 1.20 hour before the departure time. It was a misunderstanding, but It was my fault! Needless to say, I was astounded! I complained to his line manager who was also very unprofessional and obviously his friend, so I have placed a formal written complaint with their superiors. I have never experienced such incompetence by an Airline. I would recommend other potential passengers consider if they really want to fly with this airline. The low star ratings and negative feedback from other passengers is reflective of the poor service they provide. The only positive in want was an experience that almost brought me to tears was a lovely woman, Munira, who checked me in. She was very effective and embodied excellent customer care. If Kuwait Airways recognised and promoted their good staff rather than allowing a clique of obnoxious inefficient people to rise to higher frontline positions, they might be able to start turning around the substandard service and negative feedback from their customers.

This airline doesn't even warrant one star. The worst airline I have ever flown. The flight from London was ok, but nothing special. At least it was on a new plane. The main issue was there was no entertainment on our flights from Kuwait to Manila return, and when we complained about it, we were told it's always like that. Not acceptable!!! We also complained about the lack of food and especially drinks. We were told there is a Galaxy service which we found out at the end of the flight means it's self service. The crew need to explain this better. Lastly the crew. Some were ok, but some also were cold and it seemed they didn't want to be there. Maybe they just didn't want to work for this airline. As other airlines have moved on with regards to technology and customer experience, sadly Kuwait Airways has been left in the mid 1990s. I will never fly this airline again and cannot recommend them one little bit.

We have been traveling internationally from 7 years with number of Airline companies but travelling with Kuwait airways we had the worst flying experience of our lives. I would never recommend anybody to travel with Kuwait airways ever because of its crappy performance. On every step of the journey, I have experienced poorest performance. The Kuwait airways haven’t failed to disappoint me on every location of the Journey. On every step of the journey and I have seen crap happening. If Kuwait airways do not know how to run an airline may be they should close it before they put somebody’s life in danger.

I traveled from US to Delhi on Jan 12th and returned on Jan 21st. I am sorry to say that my overall experience was horrible. I will never fly KU again. Bad customer service, Entertainment systems not working on such a long flight - UNACCEPTABLE. Checkin at on Jan 21st took 1.5 hours even though there were only 2 people ahead of me. The customer service staff at counter would not give a reason for delay.

Excellent trip from Kuwait to London, me and my family occupy all lovely time onboard Kuwait airways. Staff welcome me and my family and was friendly to all, food is best taste and quality. We enjoy our flight to London on Kuwait airways. Thank you

Well, to be honest my experience with Kuwait airways was disappointing. It was my first time flying with Kuwait airways. MAA-JFK-MAA. The flight from MAA-KWI and KWI-MAA (A340) was okay compared to the flight from KWI-JFK and JFK-KWI (B747). There is no working in flight entrainment system for the flight to and fro NY though they had a small screen in front. Bad/broken seats. Almost most of the staff are quiet rude. It's almost like taking a local bus in Chennai, India. The KWI-JFK flight landing at Shannon (Ireland) Airport came as a surprise for many of my co-passengers since it wasn't clearly mentioned in the ticket that there wud be a stop in Dublin. There was also a delay in the flight from KWI-JFK. The passengers weren't explained why there was a delay. Security check done, bus is waiting downstairs, no passengers coming in to the gate, no work for almost 40-50 mins approx. I supposed they were waiting to pickup few other passengers from their other destinations and flights may have been delayed. Many passengers were angry at the ground staff. There were no restrooms after the security check within the gate. Some of them were waiting to use the restroom at the

My family has travelled a round trip from london - kuwait - cochin last month. In our outbound and inbound travel on all the flights none of the entertainment systems was working and we were not even given a blanket for our kid because the flight attendant said they have ran out of blankets. I have travelled in kuwait airways in the same route about five years back and your entertainment systems were not working at that time either. It looks like you know in none of your flights entertainment systems are not working and you are using these crap flights without resolving these issues. I would never ever book a ticket in kuwait airways in the future.

I am not surprised that it only got 1 star. The airline's toilet is very dirty on a long haul flight from London to Manila. The delay is unbelievable, the only consolation we got is, they give us accomodation for overnight delay, so I guessed that deserved a point in rating. And the base airport(Kuwait) is very scary with many military men in uniform, in the terminal when we are boarding to our plane

One f the worst airline ever traveled with. The flight was delayed from the first take off. Flight was suppose to land at Mumbai Airport at 4:30 am but landed at 6:30 am. The food in the flight was so blend. even though selecting food services did not get the requested food. We had selected the specific seats as per requirements and but it was not given and seats numbers were written manually on boarding passes from New York. in flight Entertainment system was also not working from New York to Kuwait While departing from Mumbai flight was suppose to depart at 5:30 am but departed at 8:20 am so late. Seats are also not comfortable and clean as it should be. Will never book any flight ticket with this airline again.

Never ever take this airlines. The worst ever airlines on earth, old planes from JFK to Asia. They do not even have blankets in the plane. Even if the fare is free i advise no should ever fly this airlines. I and my family have travelled extensively on long flights to Asia for 20 years and never written any airline review but this really got me to write so other travelers do not get ripped off. Please share this with other travels so others do not get cheated. Middle Easter airlines are good but not kuwati airlines.

Terrible. I flew from Rome to Bangkok via Kuwait last month. After a 12 hour delay in Kuwait we finally got on the flight another hour later than expected. The TVs didnt work and the staff were impolite when I asked if they would be switched on. We werent given food until 1 hour before landing. Never again.

Utterly abysmal. The reading lights, in-flight entertainment units and many of the chairs were broken. There was little concern for on-board safety given that no bags were stashed away over or under seats and there were no safety videos played at all. EDITORS COMMENT: Sounds like a pretty bad flight!

I booked a round trip flight on this airline from LHR to JFK. I was told that my return flight was cancelled when I arrived to the airport, and that I was rebooked on another airline. When I tried to check in at the new airline, I was told that they could not honor my booking because they were overbooked and that Kuwait did not contact them. Kuwait then told me that they could not rebook me for that day and that they would book me in a hotel and I should wait until they emailed or called me to provide my rebooking information. My complaints to the ticket agent and supervisor were met with coldness and unresponsiveness. They eventually gave me customer service and reservation numbers to call. I did not hear from Kuwait until 3 days later offering me a return flight. In that time I was not successful in reaching anyone at the numbers they gave me and no one had contacted me to even let me know they were working on rebooking me. I eventually bought another return flight on a different airline so I could get home in time for other travel arrangements. Choose this airline at your own risk, but given my experience, I suggest you fly anyone else except Kuwait!

There was chewing gum below the arm rest of my seat. They changed my seat and it was same. The problem is they dont clean the plane. The inflight entertainment didn't work. There was not enough choice on the On flight entertainment. The food was good that was the only plus I would say.

Don't ever fly with this horrendous airline. Paris-Rome-Paris. Two hours delay outbound, five hours delay inbound, antediluvian aircrafts (9K-AMD, Airbus A300, first flight 1993 and 9K-AMA, Airbus A300, first flight 1992), unpleasant staff, filthy plane, disgusting food, revolting toilets, broken TV set, no information, wrong information. Impossible to switch to another airline. Let's say I'm probably lucky the pilots knew how to fly it. Better late than dead I suppose, but never again will I fly with this terrible airline. It's a wonder they are not mentioned on the European Union blacklist as I'm sure the lack of decent care in the cabin and by staff must be reflected just as badly in the maintenance and repairs, and standards of operation. Other low-cost airlines are utmost luxury compared to Kuwait Airways.

The most Racist airlines ever...Kuwait Airways I have travelled on Kuwait Airways recently on not just one flight but 4 and so this review is not a single bad incident review but a series of observations about how racist kuwait airways staff is and how in general this is a pretty horrible airlines. I do knew that this was a low cost airlines so I was never expecting any frills but this was much worse than I ever imagined. In last almost ten years that i had been in USA , I have never experienced racism and guess what the first time I had to face it was not even n western airline. The staff in general was very rude and least interested in serving the customers and if you are a non white person travelling in their air craft then you are less important than a dog. Firstly the airline staff even outside aircraft was unfriendly and rude. While checking in when I was asking for the preferred seat at JFK airport , the response I got was "why u didnt check in online? Now I cant give you any window seat as whole flight is full"; When I boarded it half of it was empty , clearly the lady was least bothered about customer service. Then the tv screen never worked , it was never suppose to work I guess as no one even tried watching any movies as they were flickering , dont have a menu control and clearly from the last century equipment. Then the staff is totally unresponsive to your request. Even the attendant call buttons on the seat dont work. And even if you ask them for a very simple thing like a glass of water or blanket , the response you get is "Wait ; I dont have time; Ask someone else" . Of course if you are a white person specially a white blond lady then you can expect a very special treatment from the staff ; who can be at your disposal. For everybody else why on earth did you book this airlines? The staff will give you food like you are a hungry African child starving for food; literally thrown at you and not served. Also if you resting and you have requested a special meal like veg meal then staff will shout back at you ; "why was you sleeping then? Now I dont have any veg meal ; Do you understand that we dont cook food here on plane?" This was not juust most in-dignifying and horrible experience of my life but worst nightmare as well. I have travelled perhaps literally hundreds of times before in over 50 countries but this was the absolute worst. I would strongly warn anyone against boarding it. It seems staff working for Kuwait Airways are not working out of their free will but a bonded labor of Kuwait govt. and so take off their frustrations on the customer. Even if you ask for a simple thing like a pen ; they will give you a look like you are beggar and of course deny you that thing. And then you can hear the airline crew chatting "Oh these **** people ; they are so dirty" . Clearly the staff and perhaps even the Kuwait Airways management has a racist bias and unequal attitude and maybe its a normal thing in their part of the world ; But they must realise that when they travel to USA or NewYork such a behaviour is not just intolerable but reprehensible.

I travel from LHR to Kochi on 10the May 2014, all smooth upto Kuwait. Then disaster, we boarded through checkin @ 21:05 took on to a bus, left on the bus for 45 minutes with no update on reason for delay, then we have asked to go back to seating area giving an Transit Pass, again with no explanation. The security young man very rude behaviour. Kids are crying because of hunger..no refreshments provided. No update on reasons for delay after 1 hour. We didn't feel you care for providing at least a courtesy update, to keep other passengers calm.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR TIME, MONEY, HOLIDAY, PLANS, LIFE WITH THIS HORRENDOUS COMPANY!! I can quite honestly say using this airline was one of the worst experiences in my life! I'm pretty sure I've never come across a company as blasé and shady as this, I mean they're supposed to be an airline for God's sake, not some two bit cowboy building firm! We were booked to 'travel' with KA to Sri Lanka from LHR on the 1st of February. But the flight was 'delayed', it was basically cancelled but these shucksters didn't want to say that. Instead, the flight remained on the board with a 'Please wait' attachment for a full 14 hours!! If this wasn't bad enough, the ground staff were a mix of a bunch of morons, whose incompetence was breathtaking, and some very shady people who seemed to like lying. In the first, most infuriating insatnce of incompetence, those of us in the queue to check-in our bags (we were third in said queue) were told to wait in line whilst stragglers arriving late were told exactly where the queue led to; another desk where transfers and such would be arranged. The ground staff, may well think 'oh ok, I'll wait...it'll gimme a chance to scratch my butthole' but obviously, no-one is gonna queue up to queue somewhere else if their flight is at risk. So the result was that these latecomers got to the front of the queue to get transfers, hotel places etc....and we, maligned and increasingly distraught, were left with nothing but the company of ground staff. Later on, it became clear that KA had given many passengers a hotel stay in light of the cancellation. This was confirmed by a call I placed to their London office. When I asked why some passengers had received this and others not, the guy simply said 'I dunno'. Why hadn't the instructions for such things gone out in a more organised fashion? 'After I give the instructions, what can I do?'. Yes, quite. This could be Kuwait Airways' new slogan. It'd be more accurate than the guff they put on their PR now. When I asked about the hotel debacle to one of the ground staff, she lied as if this was company policy, 'Hotels were never offered'. In fact, there was a pattern of preferential treatment on all the flights. My tip: be Kuwaiti or white. If not, yeah they're not gonna care about you.
