    I paid to upgrade my seat to first class; My seat was old, uncomfortable, broken& kicked from the person behind me. I was never able to see the status of my upgrade or cancel the request. I was notified the day before my flight that I was charged the $250 to upgrade – even though when I spoke to representatives and looked online prior to this, I was told my reservation couldn’t be found.
    My return flight didnt have inflight entertainment (4 hour flight). The food was nothing but a gluten filled box: pretzels, cookie and some type of meat (did not look cooked) and cheese in a croissant. I am allergic to gluten and was unable to eat. The fact that they also don’t serve alcohol makes you wonder why anyone would fly with this airline, let alone pay to upgrade for an experience such as this.

    The worse experience I have ever had.
    The Company is disorganized and the First Class and Executive are the last people to enter in the airplane (you pay more to have the worse service).
    You pay for First Class and the chair even lay down. So you pay more and goes sorted for all your trip.
    The food are horrible and the even serve you well.
    The rates for extra luggage are the expensive ones comparing to the others Company.
    I definitely do not reccomend Avianca to anyone.

    My experience was excelent! Kind staff, tasty food, there are vegetarian oprions. Seats are comfortable and there are a lot of movies and music on the board. Check-in is fast. Everything was great. My flight was from Latin America to Spain, Reccomend!

    Only 2 seats were available at that overseas flight. We bought them online. We should received electronic ticket before 8 hours according to the reservation conditions. We didn’t receive anything. We called several times the call center and when to a sales office. First time, Call center told us to wait 18 hours. After that time we didn’t receive the electronic ticket. Sales office couldn’t tell us the status. It was not possible to buy another ticket in another flight as they still were validating. We called again call center and told us that we should wait until the day of the flight to know if the payment when through (we complained as this is out contract conditions). Finally, 24 hours later they cancelled the booking. They, even, didn’t try to process the payment as the bank didn’t send any failed attempt (as they usually send when there is any error). Finally, we checked for the same tickets and they were 1200 USD more expensive. We bought a different one for 600 USD more expensive. Obviously, they wanted to make sure to sell those tickets and to sell them to the higher price. FRAUD!
