A Southwest Airlines flight WN278 from Oakland has suffered a runway excursion on landing on runway 08 at Hollywood Burbank Airport.
Aviation-safety.net reported that the 737 was stopped by the Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS) at the end of the runway.

According to media reports, there were no reported injuries among the 112 passengers and five crew.

The 737 sustained minor damage and the passengers disembarked via mobile stairs.
