Las Vegas airport was forced to close today due to a mas shooting on the adjacent Las Vegas strip at a music festival. At least twenty people have been killed and 100 injured. About 12 are listed as critical. Read: Air France A380 engine failure It is understood that 23 flights were diverted away from the airport. Flight activity is affected this evening and long delays can be anticipated. The airport is operational again but FlightRadar24 is listing 3-hour delay for arrivals and 5-hour delay for departure.
