Aviation photographer Jarrod Swanwick has captured the plight of the aviation industry with a fly-over of the grounded airliners at Alice Springs in Australia.
The photos taken over the weekend of March 6/7 show mainly Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways aircraft.
But also can be seen are aircraft from Cebu Pacific, Scoot, Virgin Australia, Tigerair, and Jetstar.
A passionate enthusiast Jarrod (below) flew from Perth to Alice Springs, hired a helicopter to get these dramatic shots.
Jarrod said that "the pilot, Kat from Alice Springs Helicopters was very accommodating, basically said we were in charge, she would fly wherever we wanted to in order to get the angles and shots we wanted.
"The stored aircraft were a sight to see. Quite sad to see but very impressive nonetheless."
