I decided to upgrade to premium economy the only upgrade available no first class. Only a large cushion belted in with cup holder between you and the other passenger, Not better comfort. As it was a night flight and there was no one in the other seat I pushed the cushion over and belted it to the aisle seat instead to have a little more room. Immediately a steward scolded me and said that was not allowed to move the cushion even temporarily and I was not to lay down on the seats. I should have stuck with economy as I noticed a couple people had no one beside them ( an no cushion to restrict their movement) and had ample room to stretch out over the 3 seats. The food was terrible and I rarely saw a steward for any kind of service. Cold due to air conditioning and No blanket. I’ll go with another airline next time, one that cares about the customers and less rude.

Do nit use this airline.Endless cancellations with no respect of your booking yet they dont refund when they cancel your flight.
This happened 3 times within 2 weeks. Please use alternaye airlines. Dont waste your time and money.

Calgary – London, Ontario flight…i frequently fly this route on business and have noticed significant degradation in Westjet’s on-time performance. Experience over the past 6 months indicates a new normal where departure / arrivals are 30+ minutes late. Flightaware.com shows daily performance, and this is particularly dissatisfying for me since i need to wake up at 4am to make the 6:55am departure time, only to find out the flight is delayed each and every time. I don’t appreciate the airline wasting my time.

The flight going to and from Hawaii was horrible. WestJet is a way to ruin the experience. To begin, of course this is the most basic flight… do not be surprised if they do not even offer you a drink of water at the rate that they are going. The seats are uncomfortable, and the upgrade? There is no upgrade!!! The AC is on full blast.. which means lets get the blankets out… but wait!!!! you have to pay to have a blanket.. now it makes sense why the AC is on, second no blanket no pillow. Since the technology is advancing you would assume they have a tv on the seats or at least in the middle of the plane.. NOPE and on top they claim “free wifi”… if only, more like cheap plane ticket for a cheap flight. It is the best way to get sick unless you bring a winter jacket with you and plan ahead. And lets not forget… NO FOOOD!!!! Good luck going on WestJest I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

Delay delay delay… run in airport for transfer in both ways, almost mussed planes. Luggages in another plane… nothing more to say. Do yourself a favor and buy from another air company.
