    Due to a death in the family I had to change my flight home so I could attend the funeral. West jet was so accomodating with this and acted both professionally and compassionately.They quickly got me on a new flight and offered a discount on the fare. Once I was on the plane the flight attendent (i think her name was stephanie) made a point to come over and ask if I needed anything. She said she knew I was on the flight due to bereavement and to let her know if i needed anything at all during the flight. This small act of kindness was very much appreciated. I will happily fly west jet again and recommend them to anyone

    Check in process at YYZ was a 360 degree difference compared to BOS. We were warmly greeted by a WestJet rep who assisted with the kiosk check in. She kindly & patiently guided through each step, then appropriately directed us to the gate area.

    The check in process at BOS was quite time consuming due to a novice WestJet representative. The individual delayed the check in procedure due to her lack of knowledge in the position responsibilities. Her fellow representatives had to assist, which in turn took time away from their ability to help other customers.

    Flight was cancelled 6 minutes before take off making me miss my connecting flight and missing the chick in time for accommodations.

    We upgraded to Premium Economy because the seat allocation was not good. It was disappointing and not worth the additional $430. The seat was comfortable enough and the in-flight entertainment was OK but the cabin staff were barely evident. The food was very average and, due to the port side being served first (only one flight attendant at the time), the beef teriyaki ran out quickly and I was not able to have the shepherds pie that was being offered in Economy! My wife’s table was broken which made balancing the small tea tray difficult. This was not a good flying experience compared to other airlines that I have flown with.
