    Vueling cancelled my flight 2 hours before departure. They proposed an alternative flight 3 full days later. It was not possible for me to take this alternative flight as I would have missed Christmas with my family. After being blocked in the airport for 2 hours as they did not allow for passengers to leave, I was finally able to get to the train station, but the last train had already left. I had to get a hotel and book a ticket early the next morning, which cost me about three times my plane ticket. Vueling refused to compensate me for my flight cancellation, or to reimburse my hotel night, and gave me no explanation as to their decision, after 6 email exchanges with their customer support. This was in clear violation of the European Air Passenger Rights, so I escalated this issue with the Civil Aviation Authority. Very disappointed, lost a lot of money and had to go through quite an ordeal to finally leave the UK, vueling was unhelpful, unprepared, unresponsive and finally disrespectful. I would not recommend this airline

    It can be said that the actual flights, to and from Valencia [from Amsterdam] were fine. Checking in at the airports was reasonable too. The whole problem [for us] with Vueling is the DISATEROUS WEBSITE/ONLINE service. One is encouraged to check in online, particularly if one has luggage for the cargo bay as this is less expensive done online, except the WEBSITE DOES NOT WORK [for days on end]. The mobile app was a little better, we managed to get the luggage checked in and paid for beforehand, but actual check in was unsuccesful, aside from boarding passes there was no confirmation of check in. Local check in [so we had to get there earlier than needed] was OK the online boarding passes were deemed ‘unreliable’ so we still ended up with paper… The unreliability of the whole online service is so bad that we will never fly with Vueling again. Unless you have nerves of steel, no cargo luggage, plenty of time to check in at the airfield I would avoid Vueling at all costs.

    Worst airline ever encountered in 30 years of flying internationally . They cancelled my flight , pushed me around for over a month telling me that I was going to get 250 euros compensation , the asked for my bank account info to transfer the money , and after multiple exchange of e mail and phone calls , where they were kept on telling me that it was a matter of days that I would get my compensation , I received and e mail without a signature ( probably they think their clients don’t even deserve to know who are they dealing with ) saying that my case was reviewed and I don’t qualify for a refund , even if the flight was cancelled by them without any apparent reason , they didn’t have the decency to tell me in the previous phone calls that I was not getting it . DO NOT BOOK with this airline they will change cancel or delay your flight and lie about any possible refund. Flight was from bcn to fco on 08/04/2018 flight number VY6104

    VLC-BCN, I confess I was expecting caos as most of Spanish companies are impotent and incompetent, but the flight was quite ok! I showed up more than 2 hours before and this is waste of time, they literally start checking people in 1 hour before departure on domestic flights! check in service is quick if you had paid for everything beforehand, staff are friendly. Boarding is also quick! (learn with them wizzair!). Plane is cramped as others have stated! I am 171cm tall and felt really cramped, I pity people above the 180cm! it is on arrival when you have the headaches! luggage sometimes take up to 40 minutes or more to show up… too many flights arriving at the same time, BCN airport is operating above capacity! would fly them again only if the price is right.

    Terrible, terrible, terrible – I do not recommend, flight attendants were unattentive, every single flight (5) was delayed, plane is very small and very cramped
