    I have traveled extensively both domestically and internationally and have never been so disappointed as I have with Viva Aerobus. My 4 beautiful days in Ajijic ended badly thanks to Viva Aerobus (VA). First of all, you can’t check-in online within 24 hrs of departure. But in all fairness, I’m not sure if it’s airport policy or because VA hasn’t caught on. So I had to be there 2.5 hrs prior to departure, checked in and was given my “VIP” group boarding pass. As we were boarding the plane, several of us were asked to step aside and go to another line to weigh and or measure our hand carry-on bags. When they took my bag, a man, without looking at me in the eyes, proceeded to invoice me for US $52 because my bag was 1″ above the limit. He never even showed me the measurements! Mind you, I’ve used the same bag traveling to Europe, Asia and multiple US domestic flights and had NO problems. Because I felt like I was being bullied by the “polecias”, I paid the US $52 and was asked to give my bag to someone by the door of the plane. There was no one there so I proceeded to take my bag in and placed it in the overhead bin. And guess what? It fit perfectly as expected and like it has with all my other flights in the past. Also, it would be nice if VA would send us all an email warning us of their strict policies and perhaps mention that THEIR SEATS DO NOT RECLINE AND HAVE NO ENTERTAINMENT ON BOARD. So much for being in a “VIP” that they couldn’t even accommodate a bag that’s 1″ over their limit. Perhaps the US $52 they collected from me cost VA prospective passengers because of this review. One thing for sure, I WILL NEVER FLY VivaAerobus EVER AGAIN!

    I was lucky not to have much luggage, but could just see while on line, how people were being charge overweight amounts, even on carry ons, I was heart broken by a particular case, you could just see the disappointment of the traveler having to pay extra fees and more extra fees. The seats have no screens for movies, the onboard service will charge you for EVERYTHING. They charge for water even! and staff is very flat faced. I do not recall a smile from staff while on this flight. My luggage got damaged and when calling customer service to claim the damage, they put me on hold for more than an hour, I waited this long to just prove my point of never using this airline again! NOT WORTH YOUR SO CALLED SAVINGS! go with someone more reliable.

    Terrible flight and attendants were less than helpful. They moved our flight later and later a handful of times without updating their website or notifying the airport to update the departures screen. Attendants were hesitant and chatty with each other and didn’t care to offer help while a line was forming full of passengers of their plane being delayed without current updates being downloaded to their website. Terrible, I’ll never fly wth them again and no one will soon, they’re sure to go out of business from our plane full of passengers experience today.

    Horrible, I bouth a family fly ticket for 3 adult and 1 infant and they charged me 90 USD for to strollers for my kids. I will never flight with Viva Aerobus. Bussines mens from Viva, go back to other business opportunity, your staff is keeling your money and your clients also.

    I was not pleased , It started with the online booking , there website kicked me back to the main page 3 times in less then 3 Min ( refreshing ) , cost went up the 3rd time , called only to be hung up on because of there phone issues , Website looks and acts like it was made by a 15 year old in 1998
    Then you get a price for the seat , then you have to pay extra for that seat , then you have to pay extra again for using your credit card at a higher fee then the CC company charges but there a ” Cashless Company ” There is no reason to nickle and dime you , Viva knows the cost of using CC put it in the cost of the flight , , Yes it comes out the same cost wise but it makes your airlines looking like a cheap nickle and dime company trying to get every Peso you can get

    I would much rather of seen the TRUE cost of the flight up front vs looking cheap when going through the process
    Then there was the boarding , they didnt let the Handicap on first , actually refused to , took for ever to get through the boarding process , got treated like low life servants, I wont be using you again and when I wright my many articles about traveling in Mexico I will mention the bad airlines I flew
