    Never fly with VietJetAir, because of their terrible ripoff customer service.

    I’m on a trip with a bicycle Chiang Mai-Bangkok-Hanoi-Đà Lạt and back, from May 16th thru June 13th/14th.

    All these flights are with the same airline, VietJetAir.

    With each change of plane, I have to manoeuvre my bike box through the airport. I had nearly two hours between flights from the Đà Lạt plane in Hanoi to the Bangkok plane, but the Đà Lạt plane was late. The staff told me it is too late to get on the Bangkok flight. No more flights to Bangkok that day. So… put me up in a hotel, since it was their fault, as other airlines have done in the past?

    No, I had to pay to change flights. Every time I change planes, I have to pay more for the bike. The latest is about $130. I had to also pay for a hotel and taxi fares. They rebooked me onto tomorrow’s flight to Bangkok, but can’t rebook me on the flight to Chiang Mai, even though it is with the same company.

    I’m never flying VietJetAir anywhere again.

    On 22nd December of 2019, we had a flight from Phu Quoc island to Ho Chi Minh city. They canceled flight without informing us and ruined our trip. We got stuck in the airport for almost 20 hours. And we missed our next flight from Ho Chi Minh that day as well. After all, we received no compensation.
    In summary very poor service I would definitely not recommend this airline. It is better to pay more to other airlines and receive great and safe service.

    Robbed by this company!! Avoid flying with them. As soon you book and try to book luggage the website Don t work. Same the call center is not working just empty your credit on promotional msg and after hang the line!!

    At the counter they charge 4 TIMES AND MORE THE PRICE THEY ADVICE. Any customer service for complaint is fake too. Stay far.

    Scammed! I couldn’t buy check in luggage when I bought the ticket. The night before I tried to check-in online and that was not possible so I used the Add Bag option. Somehow it was charging me tickets again and baggage in addition but I went ahead and entered by credit card info. I figured I would have to straighten it out at the counter. When I arrived, they had to take time to take off those extra charges but would not honor the checked baggage that was also on the invoice. So our bags went from 220 baht to 849 baht each! What a racket! Carry on had a 7kg Limit and when we got on the plane we realized that the bags being packed in tightly in the overhead bins were certainly not 7kg. Since the email is nonexistent on the website, here it is: [email protected] I did receive an automatic reply so it’s a proven email. I did hear back from them…they will not be refunding me, and will not acknowledge a problem with their website. DO NOT USE THEM! They also left an hour late.

    WARNING!!! DONT FLY WITH THIS COMPANY!! I got my luggage. And to my surprise I noticed some damage to a wheel. I brought this up to an employee at the airport and I was told there’s nothing that can be done for me because the damage was caused from regular use. if I want give feedback send an email. At home I noticed more damage than I originally saw. My suitcase was cracked in 3 separate spots. When I opened the suitcase a bottle of sake I had was demolished. The sake leaked onto my watch and ruined my watch in the suitcase. I sent an email to simply inform them of how I was treated. I didn’t even ask for the $300 of damage that was caused. I got a return email saying they can’t help me because I didn’t submit a complaint at the airport. I replied to this saying I tried but their employee wouldn’t assist me. They replied with a copy and paste of their policies and procedures for damaged luggage. They were more interested in telling me why they won’t pay for the damage then taking responsibility for what they did.
