    Decided to take a trip to Cairo in November 2018 to visit museums, pyramids, etc….. United looses my bags during the transfer at Chicago O’Hare Airport on UAL flight # 3811. Last scan was at O’Hare Chicago. After numerous attempts, submission of forms, submission of receipts I am still getting the run around from UAL about where the bags are and whether or not UAL will reimburse for the lost luggage.

    Best part of the experience is dealing with the same incompetent nimrods at a foreign call center. Worst part of the experience is not having my luggage & medication while on holiday in a foreign country.

    Carry on luggage w/rollers is not permitted anymore and if you are in group 5 and up to board the plane, you are limited to 1 carry on only, including personal item, either stuff everything to 1 carry on bag or you need to have the second carry on tagged with a baggage claim label and pay $30.00.
    Wifi is free but, entertainment is not and you use your own device to watch movie or listen to music from the United Airlines library.
    Seating assignment is not assigned till we checked in and we were not sitting close together for a group of seven including 2 kids.
    The only positive thing was friendly flight attendants and we got to our destination safely.
    Flight was booked 6 months in advance, told wife my never fly United Airlines anymore.

    I flew from San Francisco to cairo through a connection in Amsterdam. I arrived in cairo to find that no baggage arrived. I filed a claim in cairo airport and all time was thinking it is their mistake in cairo. When United finally answered after almost 36 hours of trying to reach them and being out on ridiculous times of hold they figured that all my baggage is still in SFO and did not leave with me. I am traveling with my 9 month old infant and this out her in jeopardy with no milk or clothes or stroller or her needed medications which thanks God I took 2 days supply in my carry on. United reply was simply ridiculous that it happens and it is not their mistake and that they will forward my baggage to cairo and have no answer to why it happened. Add to this that they outsource their calls overseas to employees that don’t have answers to your questions. This is by far the worst airlines I traveled on and not only bad customer service they can also put your life or the life of your loved ones at risk and they don’t care.

    I cant express how much of a disappointment and annoyance came with choosing this airline to travel, from rude staff to horrible customer service all the way to dirty cabin and hungover crew this was by far the worst airline I have ever encountered in around 40 flights i have taken in my life, do you like cleaning your seat of some kind of fresh organic stain?, then this might be the airline for you as they gave me a hot towel to clean it myself……who the hell does that!

    I have been in US for three years and flew with UA many times since moving here. I have travelled with many other airlines and UA is by far the worst out of them. I have never experienced so much pain for being a customer to any other company. Around half of my flights (I have flown with them around 24 times) have delays.

    A lot of delays I have experienced seems completely predictable and avoidable. They are too aggressive at scheduling flights and crews, making it such that any variance would throw the entire system into jeopardy. For example, during my most recent flight, it was delayed by an hour due to rain and the crew was overworked because of that and had to arrange an emergency landing at another nearby airport. Then I had to wait two hours for them to arrange a coach bus to drive me to the destination. Altogether, my 1.5 hour flight turned into a 7 hour journey.
