Flew Economy
Flew Perth Bangkok Perth and found a once v good airline has dropped the ball. To much emphasis on bottom line as food and beverage sub standard actually in eatable. Lousy return flight time as well.

Flew Economy
I travel regularly on Thai Airways. I miss the days of their very roomy economy cabins, but 32″ seat pitch is as good as it gets nowadays in economy.
Service ranges from acceptable to brilliant. On a recent trip back from Osaka to BKK, the crew were warm, helpful and did everything they needed to make the journey pleasant.
They may be too accommodating when passengers behave badly. A weight lifter type on a Melbourne – Bangkok flight whose presence forced the young Thai couple next to him to flee to various other parts of a fairly full aircraft should have been met by police in Bangkok, but he got away with his behaviour — which included talking non-stop at the young couple, refusing to listen to the crew reading the riot act (from a prepared script) to him, and eating whilst sitting on the floor, with food splattered everywhere. I don’t see too many other airlines tolerating that.
Food is OK and sometimes can be brilliant. Cutting some of the western noodle dishes would be a good idea – they’re cheap and nasty and diminish the brand.
Overall, it’s a very good airline, sometimes lacking the class it once had in the past.
EDITORS COMMENT: Great feedback – thanks for sharing it with us.

Flew Economy
Having used Thai for a number of years I was stunned when I flew flight TG474 recently.
After having always received good service and airline food of a reasonable standard I was offered meager, begrudging service by staff who didn’t seem to care at all for the passenger’s comforts. The food was disgusting and appeared to have been thawed out then refrozen then heated again. The chicken dinner was obviously going to give anyone mild food poisoning which could be seen by the texture and I notice other passengers have left reviews about their stomach condition after imbibing it. The rubber they called an omelet for breakfast was also inedible. COME ON THAI GET YOUR CREWS TOGETHER maybe you should retire a few and find some who want to work on your planes.

Flew Economy
Flight was a direct one from Bangkok to Munich, they use a 747 here. Since I check in online I just needed to drop the luggage, no issues here.
Good inflightment 5/5, enough legspace in economy (I am 192 cm), so for economy it is really good, here also 5/5. Food was yummy, I pre ordered vegetarian and got really tasty veggies. Here also 5/5. Toilets were cleaned several time during the flight, what can I expect more? So food and cleanliness also 5/5.
If the price is ok I definitely will fly Thai again.

Ich bewerte hier einen Flug von PVG nach BKK. Es verlief alles zu meiner vollen Zufriedenheit.
Ich stelle immer wieder fest, welchen Unterschied es zwischen asiatischen und europäischen Airlines gibt.
