Paid £2000 (GBP) for a business class ticket but was asked to pay another £100 (GBP) just to change the return date!

Flew Economy
one of the first in line to check in asked if my partner & i could get exit seats . lady at check in made a call told us to ask at gate . did so just happened to be same lady at gate she said flight was full. boarded and guy who was checking in at same time had a exit seat .not to happy. night in bangkok. had to check in again . same thing happened plus flight was 1.5 hrs late . first flight from brisbane to bangkok. 787 horrible cramped plane . second leg from bangkok to london a little better. but food a bit iffy . coming home london to bangkok once again asked about seats same reply. 2 nights in bangkok 787 again to brisbane . but before i left uk rang thai airlines in london asked to change seats it was confirmed so a little happier checked in only to find out we still had old seats got a bit angry explained phone call to airline to lady made phone call . was told sorry can not do anything about it . new plane was going to be full and uncomfortable yo it was. plus second course meal omelette chicken sausage peppers. worst meal i have attempted to eat. egg was rubber left the lot . all round rubbish . never again thai.

Flew Economy
When they said “Smooth as Silk” the mean it. One of the best landings I’ve ever experienced. I barely felt it.
My flight was an A380 and selection of in-flight entertainment was really good. Definitely would choose to fly with them again.

Flew Economy
This was the first time and the last time I flew with Thai Airway. Being a member in Star Alliance, my thought of their service level would similar to other operators like Singapore Airlines.
First, I and others have to wait on airplane for almost 1 hour for MEL-BKK and same apply to BKK-SGN because many checked-in really late to the aircraft.
Second, really bad food taste and size, very limited drink and bervarage options (even does not have champagne).
Third, this is NOT a budget airlines which also includes meals. I got nothing (meals, drinks) in the TG550 flight on 7 Dec 2016.
Fourth, rude customer service, it wouldn’t be really bad if they approach to me when I pressed ‘service’ button. But here, they remotely turned it off for several of times.
