I regularly fly Thai from Sydney to Europe.
As always, some trips are better than others but I am overall very happy with the service. Also, the stopover option in BKK at minimal cost is great when you have the time.
The good old 747’s they use from SYD to BKK are getting a bit long in the tooth, and are definitely sub-par to A380 offerings from SG – but actually not too bad.

For the price I think Thai offers great value. I have always been treated well and will certainly use them in the future!

i travel 3 times per year melbourne to bkk, sometimes with family. Used to be good airline but not now. Food is a disgrace sometimes cannot eat. the thai service and smile has gone. Seats are cramped and hard. Often to save money they bus you out to and from the plane, they cannot tell you before so that i can order a wheel chair. If one of their opposition would fly direct i would the first to change airlines

1st trip to Thailand and what a better way to get there than onboard a golaitath Thai airways A380 from LHR. Food was excellent and very tasty, the drinks just kept on coming, what ever you needed was only a press of a button away. The crew were friendly and professional, can’t fault anything and look forward to flying Thai again
