I was travelling from Banglore to sydney via bangkok (18 sep 00.30 am) along with my wife and infant(5month). I have had made reservation for baby bassinet(PNR YI7IB2) and at the Bangalore terminal i was informed that the request was confirmed for bassinet. For Bangkok trip(TG326) i got the bassinet but from Bangkok to Sydney(TD471) we were not given any infant seating, nor the Bassinet but given a general seating 2nd row (32a,32b). The crew nor the supervisor helped us provide the bassinet nor infant seating nor any spacious leg space seating. They said the whole flight is full and none of the passenger were arranging to swap the seats, contrary to this they were able to arrange a swap to a co passenger( 32c) just coz his audio socket was not working to 52B. Thai should take the responsibility to ensure infants seat are allotted to infant based on the age, as i saw age1+ using the infant seating. There were many business class seats available but were never given to my wife and my baby to help resolve the situation. To add to our worst experience when i asked for veg meal/Breakfast for my wife they said you need to book in advance. I have traveled with many other carrier(Emirates,

Flew TG 416 from KUL – BKK on 23 August 2015
This is the THAI AIRWAYS I used to know loving it.
The aircraft 777-300ER seated at 72J (Last Row), the flight was not full I have the seat in front of me, right and left hand side of me vacant .
Cabin Crew were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, In-flight entertainment system – very informative.
If THAI keep their A320 for flight less than 60 minutes only would be very nice

We are extremely unhappy with Thai Airways. We are travelling New Zealand to Spain early September and chose Thai Airways as they had a direct flight Bangkok to Madrid.
We were later advised that they ceased this direct flight.
They did not give us the option to cancel our bookings with them.
We now have to waste a precious travel day – from 6am to 5pm – in Frankfurt Airport!!
They won’t even allow us free use of the Business Lounge at Frankfurt.

I feel that Thai Airways is moving towards LCC concept … Service breakfast and dinner and only sandwich in a box? Seat in A320 …designed for short people only? … I am referring KUL-BKK-KUL
EDITORS COMMENT: Thsi route is operated by Thai’s low cost offshoot Thai Smile. Thai Airways are certainly not going low cost but Thai Smile helps them keep competitive with low cost carriers on shorter routes but they offer some in flight product which is more than other airlines.
