Flew Premium Economy Class
This trip was canceled due to Covid, understandable. At first, everything was fine, promised a refund immediately upon contacting them. A week goes by, they send an email with a reference no. regarding said refund. Eleven days later they send two vouchers for 120.00 less than I paid for the tickets. I call, they refuse to let me talk to a supervisor, tell me they don’t refund tax, but it was really upgrade charges. My credit is going to make me whole, I am going to post my story everywhere. Liars and thieves, don’t trust them to fly your cat.

Phone bill for what they call “customer service”: USD 153.00
Total waiting time on the phone with terrible music:
7 hours 53 minutes!!!!!
Managers i talked to: 3
Operators i talked to: 23
Flight route: Miami-Lisbon-Luxembourg
Spended 153$ on phone bills not talking to anybody who can help changing a simple reservation!
In this review i respected the fact that it is a hard time for everybody during this pandemic but they would been better off transferring their customers to other airlines. Unfriendly, unhelpful, managers can’t help you eighter, they keep cancelling your flight without notice, giving you a “voucher” that takes weeks, even over a month to arrive.
Worst Airline in the entire World!
If you book with TAP, get yourself an appointment with your lawyer right away. Do yourself a favour and stay away from them!

Flew with them multiple times. 1st time to returning to SFO, was 2 hours late arriving because the idiot pilot went to the wrong gate. I’ve never heard of this ever before.
2nd and last time. They cancelled my flight and are refusing to refund.
Avoid TAP at all costs.

I have 2 BUSINESS TOP EXEC tickets for Miami-Lisbon-Paris leaving April 7. Since March 12 I have sent 5 Emails + 1 letter and filed 4 complaints requesting a change of date because of the TRAVEL BAN.
ALMOST ONE MONTH LATER, NOBODY has had the most elementary courtesy to answer any of my 10 messages!
If this is how they treat those who buy their more expensive tickets, how do they treat those who buy the cheapest ones?
And how can you TRUST AN AIRLINE THAT DOES NOT ANSWER TEN MESSAGES IN 1 MONTH???

Have called and emailed them many times over the past 9 months trying to follow up a complaint. Have wasted many many hours of my life with this and still never received a response to my original query.
Atrocious customer service.
Would not recommend TAP Portugal as an airline.
