First and last time I fly with them
We had to be on a plane from JFK to Quito for 5-6 hours with no ac
It was like being in a sardine can with no air and their planes could definitely use an upgrade

I’ve flown tame many times (8-10) nationally and international and they are an okay to below okay airline.
there have been some incidents , once my flight was delayed after everyone had boarded the plane and had to sit 4 hours inside the plane but eventually I got resolved and took off, anothwr incident was that they cancelled my flight from Guayaquil to Cuenca and could not get me to Cuenca for 10 hours thru Quito so I told them I wasnted some money back so could travel to Cuenca but I was told by a supervisor that nothing could be done and to have a nice day.
Other than that the other times I had no problems. The employees try to do the best they can the food si okay. The 330 plane is old but I don’t mind, the 310 had the atr plane they operate are in pretty good shape.
I would fly with them again since they try their best.
But if you are very demanding in flying I would think twice before booking with them.

La peor aerolÃnea, personal nada profesional, servicio , pésimo, aviones viejos , horribles , una vergüenza para la Star Alliance . Si no quiere pasar la peor experiencia de su vida , pague un poco más , créame que vale la pena .

We booked our trip to Guayaquil and Tame said everything was confirmed to Guayaquil we didn’t know that Tame STOPPED the direct flight to Guayaquil until we were on the plane, that is not acceptable we felt like we were lie, there are many others airlines that flight straight to Guayaquil next time we definitely going to fly a different airlines, on the mean time we are spreading the word on the Ecuadorean community in New Jersey and New York, that travel to Guayaquil or Cuenca

I would try other airline first. Booked a flight a long time ago and it seems Tame puts a bunch of flight out per day but eventually cancels and combines flights together. After you have paid there is not much you can do except not to agree with changes and try to book with some other airline. Customer service is slow and you can’t tell if changes are accepted even after you agree to them….which makes you feel that you may not have a seat.
