One of my worst experiences ever with an airline!
One of my flights was cancelled without the airline company bothering to inform me. So I finally found out about it when I tried to check in. When I asked why it was cancelled I got the bogus answer because of “unexpected flight safety shortcoming”. What it actually meant was that it was cancelled because there weren’t enough passengers on that flight to make it profitable and so they decided to just cancel the flight and move all passengers to another flight 6 hours later.
I really would not recommend to anybody flying with them since you can’t be sure you’ll get there on the day and time you planned to!

My daughter is travelling for her first time internationally, on her own I made a change to her itinerary with United to book her flights of which part are with Swiss Air. to confirm seats, Swiss charges a fee, which was paid for all (4) Swiss legs of the trip. The UA change eliminated one of the legs to reduce her number of stop overs. when contacting Swiss to ask to refund the $50 for the assigned seat, the agent 1st said that that was out of policy REALLY? I am stuck paying $50 for a seat on a flight which we are no longer using that is almost 3 months out? As I have been booking flights for my entire family to spend time in Europe, the booking experience and this event with Swiss is by far the worst of the experiences I Have been encountering. It’s not about $50, it’s about doing the right thing for the consumer. Unless this is dealt with I will avoid Swiss Air at all cost for future travels. Be careful when booking with this airline!

I flew regularly from Madrid to Geneva in the last months and I was positively surprised by the quality and the Service of Swiss, when available in these European flights I would clearly prefer Swiss. The only thing I missed on my seat is a plug / USB charger, for everything else I was clearly positively surprised. the details I liked in particular are: – the Staff is very friendly and efficient, the Swiss touch in quality of service. – the snack and chocolate, and especially the detail of the bottle of water even on short flights. – the comfort of the plane – No subcontracting to low-cost airlines, with low-cost terminals. – pricing is fair. – post flight administration and service is very efficient.
