MSP-RSW on what seemed to be fairly new 737-800 . Superb experience and service from friendly cabin crew………Upgraded to first class for 119.00, cant beat that !!! Nonstop service made this even better on a local home grown airline that seems to genuinely care. I hope the other major carriers take a page out of that, they desperately need it. Well done Sun Country. I only wished they purchase some wide body jets for some longer non stops like Hawaii and South America.

I flew from New York to Minneapolis round trip with my wife. Aircraft Boeing 737-800. Wonderful experience. Both flights were right on time, even arriving 15 minutes early. We paid $10 each way to select seats in the first 10 rows, which also gave us an advanced boarding.
Very good service at checking, boarding and on board. All the personnel were really nice and eager to make us have a good experience. I think Sun Country is the best option to fly from New York to Minneapolis.

Horrible service especially for military families. I do not recommend this airline. They have horrible, inflexible customer service and make no accommodations for military members or families.

Due to an extended deployment I needed to cancel an airline ticket. I was told that cancellations are not possible no matter what and that I could “change” my flight date and put my flight on hold for up to a year. Now that I have attempted to change my flight I find that I cannot retain a credit for the difference in the cost of the two flights, but that I also need to pay a $75 change fee out of pocket that cannot come out of the difference in ticket costs. According to their customer service the following is there change policy for military members taken from their customer service email: “Sun Country Airlines does offer cancellations with refunds for passengers and immediate family travelling on the same reservation, who present orders for deployment to the Middle East.”

Horrible customer service experience. I will not be flying this company again.
