Purchased a more expensive ticket for their ‘scoot in silence’ seats which promises an adult-only zone which is silent so you can sleep. However my and my wife’s seat was directly next to the toilet, and consequently the queue, the flush and the banging door. It was actually the noisiest flight I’ve ever had. I complained and was told there was nothing they could do.

I’ve also added up the money I save by the cheaper ticket, and with all the other hidden charges it would have been cheaper to fly with a better airline. Yes, they are a budget airline, but there are some things which shouldn’t cost money, such as good service. When our plane was boarding, the staff were just talking to each other and a huge amount of people were confused and not even sure what was happening.

The food is also terrible – we paid for two teas (yes you have to pay even for tea), and they bought two foam cups and handed us two tea bags. We asked for milk, and got a strange look, and eventually someone came back with powdered milk sachets.

    DO NOT USE.

Paid 600 for SCOOT from Sydney to Sing with meal included but then when on board they didnt give me meal stating it was not in the bill. They can see clearly from the bill that i have paid extra 17 dollar for meal but decline to give me any food due to their inflexible and poor service, which leads to my decrease in health as i have very bad health already and the flight was 8 hours.
They told me to claim the money back when on board however when ask service desk she seems to not care and say nothing can be done, told me to call centre. It took more than two hours to reach them due to my experience hence i gave them the money and told them they just lost their customers, the service lady doesn’t care either.
Additionally i purchased extra kg for luggage and then my partner who traveled with me exceed his luggage and the staff didnt tell us we could transfer kg which leads to extra charges (400$ to be exact). However after a long complain we finally have a right charge (50$) but took lots of effort and time.
To conclude, scoot was the worst flight service i’ve ever flew with due to their tricky of making money from people and i advise people NOT to book with SCOOT.

I travelled on Scoot from Sg to Perth with my four daughters. On the way to Perth, the flight was delayed from 1310hrs to 1650hrs. What was meant to be dinner with family turned into having them come pick us up from the airport at 2200hrs. Similarly on our return flight, another delay meant reaching Singapore not at 0010hrs but 0330hrs. While I fully understand that Scoot is a budget airline and delays can be expected, never did I dream it will be by this much and frequency. No apology was made at Perth side, not at check nor onboard. To say I was disappointed would be understatement. The reason I chose to fly Scoot was the time offered to me and thinking it’s a subsidiary of SIA, it should share some traits. I have flown Scoot & Tiger before and was happy with it but this recent experience have left me jaded.

NEVER fly with scoot. I booked a ticket almost 1.5 years ago (the flight was April 2015, I was physically unable to fly anymore with 3 medical certificates/letters clearly explaining why I could not fly.. contact them again in October 2016 asking them whats going on they said they sent me a voucher. Never got it, I checked ALL my inbox’s so I asked them to re send, they did, tried to book a ticket. What do you know it’s expired!! I have been emailing them ever since. They say “needs to go to headquarters to be approved” been hearing this since day 1! . it is now December 13th and I’m on the phone telling them to send me a NEW voucher so I can spend my $700 that I paid them on something useful. Now they are telling me the voucher re newal needs to be approved. I am not leaving the phone until this is 100% sorted tonight! This is a joke and I will NEVER fly with scoot (other than getting what I already paid for back) I will also tell EVERYONE I know to NEVER fly with scoot.

They suck! I flew with business, plane got cancelled for 1 night due to engineering problem, staff didn’t treat you well especially in Gold Coast airport. The next morning, it was delayed for more than 2 hours. They don’t give any solution at all, just plain sorry. Un-freaking-believable! It’s better to fly with other plane next time.
