We have supported Malaysia continually before and after their difficulties, but may no longer do so.
Whilst our upcoming PER/KUL/CDG business return flights were changed from lie-flat A380 to angle 777-200, and our reserved adjoining seats were no longer together; we were most annoyed that Malaysia made no attempt to contact us or inform us of these changes.
We understand and support Malaysia’s need for rationalisation, but suggest that if they want to ensure customer loyalty, they should involve the customers in the process and have the courtesy to contact them.
Malaysia have our emails & home address, our mobile & home telephones, and our Enrich contacts.
We have always enjoyed travelling with Malaysia: even with the occasional long delay we’d give an 8. We are fond of the staff (9) and love the satay (10), but this will probably be our last flight with them.
It was fortunate we discovered these plane and seating changes ahead of time, but we should have been informed by Malaysia.
EDITORS COMMENT: unfortunately airlines reserve the right to change aircraft type any time they want or need however as a passenger, especially when travelling business class, this can result in a huge change in the in flight product and an option to change plans should be offered – those angled beds aren’t the best – on any airline!

So disappointed! I had been informed on booking this is a 5 star airline, what a joke! 5 days before I was due to fly back the flight centre in London e mailed me to say Malaysian airlines have permanently cancelled all morning flights back from Langkawi to KL. I was offered a night flight as an alternative, but had booked day flights as this is what I wanted!
The food was barely edible & we were left 10 hours between meals with just some Pretzel sticks & Oreos to keep us going. Very few drinks offered over 14 hours, most of the time the staff were hiding behind the curtains in the food prep area. My advice is pay a little more & avoid this airline at all costs! Worst flying experience ever 🙁

We, my wife and I experience the delight of flying with Malaysian Airline.
We had the very pleasure of meeting Zainal, the flight supervisor who welcomed us with the greatest welcome on board.flight from Paris to Kuala Lumpur.
I would strongly recommend Malaysian airline with anyone wanting to fly.
The staff is very welcoming and accommodating.
Thank you

ADL-KUL A330 Business Class
Check in at ADL is completed by a third party and nothing was needed other than to tag bags and collect QF Club invitation as we had checked in online before hand. So this process took a matter of minutes.
MH Business Class is looking and feeling a little tired these days, but for a trip from Adelaide to KL its pretty good, as usual the staff were professional and pleasant, food on offer was pretty good. The MH satay is one of the best and is always worth getting. Mains and desert were tasty and well presented, with orders taken for drinks and desired main prior to meal service. Which is always nicer than something being plated on the cart in the aisle.
The seat is ok for day time flights, but as a bed it last that complete lay flat, so you still slide down to the bottom.
IFE was good with a decent amount of TV shows and newer movies to keep me entertained over 7 hours. I cant fault MH on trying to do the best they can with what they have.

KUL-SIN-KUL A738 Business Class
Both sectors were upgrades via the MH bid site and for the money it was nice, under $200AUD for 2 pax both sectors.
In such a small flight (330kms) MH still provide a small hot meal service, and a drink (soft drink, water, juice or beer – no wine).
The seat was comfortable with the same IFE as the newer A330’s, crew were plentiful with two working the business cabin.
Overall a pleasant and quick trip, with outbound about 70% capacity and the return let at close to full.
