Flew Economy Class
For anyone thinking about flying with LC Peru, please be warned. We had a flight booked with them that was cancelled one week before it was due to depart. Although guidebooks and travel websites state that flights can be cancelled due to bad weather, this was clearly not the case in this instance. We have never received a refund. This is theft. We have had lengthy e-mail exchanges with two different departments within the same company that do not communicate with one another, each time with a different person. They said they no longer had our details from when we booked the flight and demanded copies of our passports, bank accounts, and contact details via unsecured e-mail accounts, yet we have never received our money. We lost a lot of money and time as a result.

The moment I tried to check-in online, I found out they canceled my flight. As a consequence I missed my flight from Lima to Amsterdam. They told me it’s my problem. Really unprofessional!!

So far, I have taken 3 flts w LCP and 2 had flights w departures changed by an additional hour at last minute. Not a nice way to find out when you go to the counter w already checked passes for them to reissue w changed times and not even tell you. The first time I found out because they changed our selected seats and the second time because I asked w previous experience and worst thing is that they had issued the tickets at the counter in Cuzco and when I checked in Lima they ripped those tickets and gave me the changed tickets, no apologies and a bad tempered front person. Worst airline in Peru so far. Doubt if this airline will survive with such poor service. I still have one more flt w them in a weeks time. Hope for best.
