    I am tired about the very very very poor customer service the company is providing to close my case opened in April 2016 when the baggage was lost in my flight from Buenos Aires to Miami. I have completed the paper work requested by the company, signed everything and finally in November 4th 2016 they send me a confirmation that the refund was processed. This never happened, the funds never arrived to my account. I have sent more than 10 follow up requests and nobody answers. Every time I call nobody provide me wit an answer and they hung up. I send emails and nobody answers or the only thing I receive as an answer is an automated respond with a new case number. I am really frustrated, tired, almost without knowing what to do. I beg you help with this case maybe can submit it to a Customer Service Manager or Director. But this experience is terrible, the company from customer service perspective is a disaster , horrible, no words to describe. Be aware that if you chose to travel on LATAM you might get the baggage lost and experience this situation. Watch Out.

    I travelled with LATAM on their new B787-9 last month SYD-AKL-SYD. They still have alot of work to do with the boarding of premium business pax. I swear the general boarding line was moving faster.
    However, onboard the difference is stark compared to the A340-300 they used to use. The cabin is more roomy and fresh. The food has improved out of this world. Nuts and water, juice, or champagne pre take off.
    The B787 is a delightful aircraft to fly out. So much quieter and you don’t get that dry mouth situation that comes with flying.
    However, the seats…oh dear….they are terrible. When you reclined in the old seats, the back reclined and the leg rest rose. This still happens, but the seat cushion slides forward also. This slides you closer to the seats in front of you (or wall if in first row). No good if you are anything over 6ft. Having had a chat with the crew (and even the captain on the return leg) they all agreed that the new seats are a step backwards from what they used to have.
    The movies are limited. No real blockbusters or new releases to speak of. Very disappointing in that regard. Basic amenity kits are now provided on this short sector.

    never see such a bad airline, their call center staff and offline staff are a bad attitudes, and push the case back and forth again and again for more than a week.

    MY minors children were left unattended for 9 hours in a different state in Brazil. Even when they identified themselves as minors LATAM staff did nothing. 12 hours later they arrived to their original destination and no luggage for 3 days. During these 9 hours LATAM could not give any answers to the worried parents, overseas, and grandmother waiting for them in the original airport. Negligence and they will face criminal laws accordingly to Brazilian children and youth rights.
