    Korean Air completely ruined my last trip. I went to check in for the flight at the airport and they couldn’t find the first half of my reservation. I called customer service and found out that they had entered my name backwards for the first half of the flight. I ended up sitting on the ticketing terminal with my wife and 9 month old son for 3 hours while I battled with customer service. In the end they could not change the name, so we missed our flight. Despite the error being their fault they still charged us $200 per ticket to cancel the flight with no option to change the flight to another day. All of this is in addition to the fact that I was on the phone with customer service for 5 hours when I originally booked because their website charges the card and then cancels the flight when you add an infant. If you do choose to fly Korean Air, I highly recommend using a third party booking site. Korean Air doesn’t care about individual travelers and will not help you.

    Cabin temperatures too high. Makes sleeping difficult.

    I’ve had a return flight from AMS to ICN and as usual, both flights were pleasant as it gets, even though there are some critical points to be made.

    Good things: flight attendants were very professional and pro-active. The seat was comfortable and roomy compared to other airliners (Economy). The food was also very nice. And the personal entertainment system was very good.

    Things to improve: My impression was that the duty free shopping is on top of their to-do list. We had a flight with severe turbulence which forced captain to let the passengers and FA take their seat and buckle. But the FA just kept on with selling the stuff while passengers were refused to go to the bathroom for almost an hour.

    I flew from Inchon Korea to Dallas Texas [flt. KE031] on 9/13/2015. This was my second trip to Thailand since 2013 and I have to say the service was fantastic. I was flying first class and the two attendants, Park and Jud we so personable I felt as if I knew them as friends. Thank you for the wonderful service Korean

    I fly a lot of airlines, but I will say that Korean Air brought there A-game. Best overall experience, roomy, customer service and food.
