The worst customer service experience of my life belongs to KLM & City Bags. NEVER take a KLM 40 minute transfer through Amsterdam. You might make your flight but if your bags don’t you won’t see them for days, you’ll spend hours on hold waiting to find out nothing and nobody will at any point initiate contact with you. After 5 days of utter incompetence and total indifference from both KLM & City Bags I called the Police. I asked IF I could report them stolen, get an incident number and claim my insurance. They called a contact at Glasgow Airport and 20 minutes later I was given the location of the courier and collected the bags myself.
The complaint I raised with KLM was closed on the first day, automatically and without any contact with me because – the bags were with the courier. It is a total abdication of responsibility and their future customers should know what a shambolic service they will receive if their bags are lost.

Klm keeping racism alive in 2019,
unless you are a citizen of the Netherlands you may well see the racism aimed at you,
    i certainly did.
forced to change seats so that dutch people could queue jump despite paying more to board early.
Receiving verbal abuse from Klm staff for doing absolutely nothing except queue quietly for 4 hours.
Then getting a big burly security guard to stand over me when i was sitting down and had not moved to try and intimidate me, pathetic
Then best of all trying to justify it all by lying about a disabled passenger needed to use a wheelchair and the seat i was sitting in, this passenger did not need a wheelchair and was walking up and down the area quite happily and marched off down the boarding tunnel as soon as it was opened no wheelchair in sight.
The only thing this person did was to speak in Dutch, then all other nationalities got second place.
Thanks for ruining my family holiday

If you are thinking flying GOL or KLM to latin america and you have kids READ THIS!
GOL AIRLINES did not give us a seatbelt for your 18 year old son, even if after we asked for it.
Apart from the obvious hazard for your child. We always travel with a stroller that every single time until now, we give at the planes gate and get it back right when we leave the plane.
GOL took our stroller and without telling us they sent it to the cargo bay UNTIL THE FINAL DESTINATION. That means that even when we got off the second connecting flight (out of 3) in Amsterdam with KLM, we where not able to use our stroller until final destination. We had at least 4km walk in Rio de Janeiro airport to the transit gate (btw no aircon at that airport, only heat and humidity). Then 5 hours lay over in Amsterdam also without the stroller…KLM plane was also in bad condition. To make things worse KLM lost the stroller on the way and we finally got it 2 days later at our final destination.

We flew from Amsterdam to Vancouver and It was low quality from the food to service to the attitude of the staff, which I found all a bit jaded There no care or interest in anything or anyone, the food was terrible and I eat pretty much anything put in front of me. At one point we asked for a drink of water 3 times whilst other people were getting served by other staff. Overall the staff were a bit rude and I would fly them reluctantly as they fly the routes I opt to fly often and I would bring a sandwich and a bottle of water for my own wellbeing.

KLM advertises flights with one type of aircraft and later switches to another inferior type. You specifically might book KLM because you want a 787-9 and later you will find yourself on a 777-200. We are not talking about last minute substitutions. We are talking about changes months before the departure. This now has happened to us twice on transatlantic and European flights. Bait and switch, a lawyer would call it. Horrible.
