Having flown Icelandair three times, I have always found the service and hard product pretty consistent both flying from SEA and PDX. This is not a full-service airline, so expect to buy-on-board or take food with you. You do get a TV/Movie selection which is better than other lower-cost carriers. So, Icelandair is pretty reasonable when considering the price of tickets. Kids 11 and under get a free hot meal which is a bonus. My 12 yr old also received a spare meal which was a nice touch. My only gripe was purchasing foo and beverages using Saga Points, but having both points and my credit card charged. Hopefully rectified soon.
Overall, I am satisfied with the airline; have found the 757 aircraft to be safe and comfortable and look forward to flying with them again.

Icelandair is withholding compensation due to me for a canceled flight. Hands down the worst customer service I have had to deal with in all my years of flying, really gave me a poor impression of Iceland and its people unfortunately.

Flight was on time both ways. Easy to follow self service check in on return trip. Sufficient leg room but found the seats narrow and too close to the passenger alongside. I liked the aurora livery on the outgoing flight. Required own headset for in flight entertainment or had to purchase on the plane. Flight time from UK short enough not to require food or drink so unable to review this service. Saved money booking direct with Iceland air rather than with travel agent. Our holiday in Reykjavik was excellent.

WORST FLIGHT! For a Stockholm-Toronto journey in economy, no food was served unless you pay for it… The plane was a small 2×3 seats rows with not much leg room. When I went to the back of the plane to stand I was told not to stand in the kitchen area… WTF?
After a 45min delay to get in the plane, we were told to rush and sit down, and the air stewards were far from being nice.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AIRLINE, way too expensive for the bad service given!

On a return flight to Dulles Airport from Keflavik, our Icelandair flight was delayed 4+ hours in Keflavik, causing us to miss our connecting flight with UA at Dulles. This caused us to stay an extra day in Dulles and fly home the next day via UA, which was extra expenses for flight, hotel and food. Travelling is work and expensive, but rewarding. HMS.
