They have a more or less unusable website, note following

    1) If giving a refund, they put as credit but no where can this be seen and system does not allow it to be used, this is theft.
    2) Unable to use foreign credit cards
    3) Be careful which site you use, all give different values,

On board they give water only.
No entertainment systems on aircraft even on International flights of 8 hours.

I used my Very Precious Delta Skymiles to Pay For A One Way Trip from
Los Angeles, California all the way to Macapa, Amapa Brasil.

My flight started yesterday morning on Delta Flight Number #DL2032 with a connection out of Atlanta, Georgia going directly to Sao Paulo on Flight #DL105.

The Delta Flights were actually Not The Problem!

The problem started on your Gol Flight Number #GC1590 from Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo in which they gave us these Horrible Snacks To Eat that you can see in the pictures and then they wanted to Charge Us For Soda Drinks on Top Of It!

How Disgustingly Cheap, Selfish And Ridiculous!

Please NOTE: I remember taking one of your domestic flights about 5-7 Years Ago from Northern Brasil to Southern Brasil and NEVER had to pay for sodas and they even gave us FREE Sandwiches!

    What Happened Since Then?

Please Also NOTE: It is Not Normal, Nor Customary for any airlines to be charging their customers for Soda Drinks!

    Get With The Program!

As stated by other Brazilians, Gol is not a great alternative, but we don’t have much choice, But I do think they deliver the same product as TAM, but they call themselves low fare airlines, it’s a lie! they are as expensive! On board service is 0 stars! Good luck!

GOL is like TAM. No really competition on the BR market so you can expect, bad service (or only pay service on board), high ticket prices (difference with TAM are not significant), No life vest under the seats (you must use the seat cushion instead! if the airplane crash in water). This Brasilian airlines have pretty full flight only because you have not alternative to flight in Brasil (only Avianca, with less flight but much better quality). You feel the the bad attention to customer also in GOL internet site / Smiles account. If you dont have an Brasilian Keyboard you can not subscribe bonus miles service (@ for your email address will not accepted, the address field are wrong and not permitt to complete the procedure). We are in YEAR 2015 and they are not able to have an “normal” internet procedure for subscriptions!. That’s incredibile and like TAM, GOL have passenger only because not other alternative.

I flew a GOL flight from Porto Seguro to Salvador, and Salvador to Brasillia.
Check-in was fine, nothing special, but the self checking machine was hopeless.
Seats were horrible, soft but old and smelly. As well as the cabin…
The cabin crew were alright, nothing wrong.
I can tell this airline is lacking in safety inspections!

Also this airline is a low-cost carrier, not a full service airline. They have no lounge, they use several bonus systems, none made by them.

Overall, it’s good, but you would rather fly another airline if you have the opportunity!
