    Actually Eurowings more than Germanwings these days, but there’s actually no difference! Can’t say I’ve had much of a problem with these guys. You get what you pay for, and plus you can pick your seat, even on the cheapest fair! They suffer delays, just like any airline, but in my experience they have been a maximum of 2 hours late. Not crazy by any stretch of imagination. I been given extra legroom seats a couple of times for free, but even the standard seats are not too bad. I’m freakishly tall, so I know poor legroom when I see it! Also free (trial) WIFI on some flights and device charging points (again, on some flights). Staff have always been polite and helpful in my experience and I travel regularly so I have plenty to compare them with! I will continue to be a customer, hopefully my next flight with them will be without a hitch!!

    This is for EUROWINGS. I went to pick up my boarding pass in Dusseldorf connecting from Croatia to London, when the person at the desk told me they had overbooked the flight so I wasn’t assured my seat and had to ask at the gate whether I would get on the flight. At the gate after three tries I eventually got assigned a seat, this seat had also been assigned to someone else! So there were people milling about on the plane with no seats. Luckily I was one who got to keep the seat I was in. But I could have missed this flight, a flight I paid fully for weeks before, due to Eurowings’ disgusting practices and negligence. This has never happened to me before, in 35 years of flying! I will never fly Eurowings again, nor will anyone in my network.

    Worst travel experience ever. Flight cologne – zurich canceled after being postponed two times. Ground staff had no clue what’s going on. Operator booked me on the next flight early on the following day. Online check-in. Boarding pass received in my mobile. Next day in front of the gate the boarding pass was not valid. No sorry from service desk. Just rebooked on next flight. This airline has a serious problem with the booking system and service staff engagement. Don’t trust your electronic boarding pass!

    Used this airline (Now changed to Eurowings) on 2 flights from Bucharest Romania to Oslo with connecting flight in Hamburg. Cabin crew were sort of curt and cold. They lost my suitcase. (Sent it to Brussels instead of Oslo) We had connections in Oslo back to Orlando so suitcase did not catch up with me. After at least 2 e-mails a day over 10 days I finally got it back at home thanks to Delta. I suppose I would use them again, but might only have carry on. Flights were in 2015

    Don’t check baggage. Baggage damaged, procedure followed but nothing replaced. Airline communication non existent. Non existent customer service!
