Garuda Indonesia

garuda Indonesia’s standards are on another level! The aircraft is always clean, the staff are highly respectful and kind, and their flights are always comfortable! I highly recommend flying with Garuda.

I few with Garuda 88 from Jakarta to Amsterdam and the journey was flawless. From the smooth check-in to the boarding and the delightful journey. The food was delicious and the cabin crew were extremely friendly.The flight arrived in Amsterdam on-time and the disembarkation process was smooth as well. The only improvement Garuda can make is with their entertainment system. Other than that, flying with Garuda was totally worth it.

As my flag carrier I have to admit that this is the best airline in Indonesia. None of its competitor can reach its status. Though I had experience some safety issue last year, when my baby’s safety belt not being assisted carefully by the flight attendant. Filed a complaint and they response quite interesting.
But to compete in International carrier they have to increase their service satisfaction.

I flight many times with Garuda, overally they are a good airline and good service onboard. I thought the in flight crew were very friendly and eager to please. They’re a friendly lot. Don’t know about food as my domestic flights were too short. Food was fine and what you would expect for airline food. I recall that the ground staff were very helpful and friendly. late for take off without any information from flight attendant, but when i ask the reason they explain the reason of the delay friendly.

We travel to Indonesia regularly and always select Garuda if the fare is within $150pp one way of the other carriers. Always a comfortable flight with a generous baggage allowance, plenty of leg room and delicious Indonesian food. Cabin crew are unfailingly charming.
