    On 14 November 2013, I went to Garuda Online to book my flight from Singapore to Denpasar for 17 Nov 2013 for 0550am. After receiving booking confirmation, the time was sudden changed to 0650am.

    On 17 November, when I arrived at Changi Airport, the customer service could not find my booking and eventually, they told me the booking was cancelled. I was informed last minute it was due to payment error. So I had to fly by SQ urgently.

    When I arrived at my destination, I found out that my bank account had already been deducted. I tried to contact the customer service and made complaints but it was extremely difficult. I had to pay extra money due to their IT system error.

    Please be careful next time when using Garuda Airline. Not really a good experience.

    Difficult to contact gff complaint center

    It was unbelievably hard for me to reach the gff complaint center. The line gets cut off many times.
    On the other hand, it’s taking an awfully long time for Garuda to convert my bank’s credit card rewards points to Garuda Frequent Flyer miles ! It’s been over a month now since I last exchanged my credit card rewards points to gff miles. During this time, I’ve been making back-to-back calls with my bank and Garuda call center, following up on the issue of why they’re taking so long to credit the gff miles to my gff account.

    AWFUL experience with call center

    Worst customer service ever (I spoke with the supervisor at the Complaints section of Garuda call center regarding GFF). Not only was he poor in his english language, unable to deliver my request and come up with a win-win solution, I think he hung on me halfway through when i was explaining about the issue (but i called back again and got through to him and he gave some excuse about the line got cut etc.).

    I flew GA725 to Jakarta as they recently reintroduced a daily direct service back to Jakarta. I flew a Boeing 737-800NG which was comfortable than most other GA flights I had been on. Dinner service was a little late but I wasn’t too fussed. We arrived in Jakarta 10 minutes ahead of schedule even though we were delayed 10 minutes in Perth and was placed into a holding pattern in Jakarta. All in all, it was an uneventful flight made even better by the trustful crew who assisted in every way they could.
