    From Brisbane to Denpasar then to Jakarta after a change of planes. Both legs on Boeing 737-800. The flight got me there. Inflight entertainment didnt work for me or other in my row – kept resetting after a couple of minutes or seconds. Frustrating. Checked the feedback section of the system and it wasnt working. It has been like this for the last five years. They simply dont want to know what you think. Service was good. Seat with very little recline. Food had no taste. I was looking forward to a pearl barley and feta starter but that is the first feta I have tried with no taste. I didnt bother finishing the food.

    Fligh was no different from domestic service – except they served alcohol. No in-flight immigration on this leg. I got to my connection gate and boarded straight away minutes just due to other pax numbers. Two hours almost not enough. It was a bit disappointing. I have flown Garuda extensively but not internationally. No difference.

    With this service so far below other leading airlines I have to wonder what on earth was Stytracks thinking?

    Flights: GA 712, GA721,
    I have purchased the ticket from Jakarta to Sydney kn 14 sep 2014 and another one is feom Brisbane to Danpasar on 25 sep 2014 . Both flights schedule had been changed abruptly without explanation. One will be advenced for 1 day and another wil, be postponed for 1 day. Now my trip is completelt ruined thanks to their terrible flight rescheduling

    HORRIBLE AIRLINE and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

    I tried to book a ticket online on 7th of July from Singapore to Jakarta. The website showed error after getting my card details.I called the customer service number to check my transaction status. After 20 minuts of long wait, the call got cut. I retired booking and again i got the same error. So i just chucked this airline and booked my ticket with a different airline. After two days I get to know that my account has been charged twice by Garuda Airlines. When i contacted the airlines local office, a lady called Sham attended my call and she is giving me a dumb reply that the flight date is already over and she cannot help with it. On talking to her again and again , she said she will talk about this to her Indonesian counterpart. 3 days since i raised a complaint and she is still giving me the same reply. On reading reviews across the internet, I see that Garuda is having this problem since 2011. Garuda is not caring about fixing this problem , instead it troubles customers more by not having proper customer service too. Horrible airlines and horrible customer service.

    I flew Jogjakarta – Jakarta with the Boeing 737-800. There was a flight entertainment but no meals or light snacks. There was a heavy turbulance and the flight entertainment is only asian movies.

    I flew Brisbane/Denpasar-Bali on 7 March, 2014 flight GA721 on a very nice, and very new B737-800NG. The cabin crew were just fantastic, polite and super efficient. The in-flight service was second to none, a full 4 course meal, wonderful food and plenty of alcoholic beverages on offer. The aircraft ibterior was cool, calm and relaxing with sky blue interiors and lighting. Plenty of legroom in my Economy seat and I’m tall 1.83cms. The return flight Denpasar-Bali/Brisbane on 28 March, 2014 flight GA720 similar to the outbound flight with the same aircraft type a B737-800NG a wonderful and very comfortable aircraft to fly in. The in flight meal was a full breakfast 3 hours into the flight. Overall two excellent flights and they deserve full marks 10/10. I will only fly on Garuda-Indonesia when I take my holidays to Bali twice a year.
