Companies customer service is absolutely terrible. The prices are cheap for the tickets but the cost for luggage and hidden fees are ridiculous. It was the worst experiance ive ever had with a company and i fly for a living. Do yourself a favor and fly with a company that isnt garbage, like southwest.

Awful. Recommend avoiding. We flew to Cancun from STL in early March 2016 on Apple charter for spring break vacation. These jerks tried telling us that they had to take luggage off of plane, because it was too heavy. Ummm, it is a 737 – no such thing. You wanted to save money on fuel.

Flight arrived 1.5 hours late. Took another 1.5 hours to figure out wth to do about bags. And then we had to shop. We hate shopping. And my wife cannot simply walk into a shop and buy a swim suit. We got tired of shipping, so she basically sat in shade for 2 days. So they ruined 1st two days of our $6k vacation.

Fine, we send in $275 of itemized receipts for clothes, toiletries, etc. These idiots send me a check for $210 with no explanation of why they shorted me. Brilliant.

Despite their claim to cheap fares, the fare is not. Washington to Denver, the base fare was $348.67 with $84.33 in taxes giving a total of $433.00. Then comes the fees: checked bags @ $30 each way, carry-on bags (!!!) again @ $30 each way ($120). Pick your seat @ $12 each way (you can choose not to pay and they will assign you a seat at the airport, probably guaranteeing a middle seat).
On board, you will discover that it really is an economy seat. The seat is a cheapy and does not recline. And do not expect a drink of juice or soda. That costs $1.99. You can get a free cup of water.
They really should rename Frontier Airlines as either Cheap Charlie Airlines or Pirate Airlines.
By the time I had paid all the fees, my real fare was $577. Not cheap.

EDITORS COMMENT: All these extra charges are stated during the booking process and ti is wise to add up all the costs before actually paying as you may find a cheaper and more comfortable option.

Never travel with this airline. They charge 30$ for carry on bags and claim it is due to low fares. The fairs are not low. Every interaction that i had with this airline had a” trick up its sleve”. save yourself the hastle and book elsewhere.

Booked flight from orlando to chicago. Arrived 2 hrs. There was a mob of people with only 2 people checking passengerd in. By the time i got to the counter i was notified that i missed my flight. Come to find out the reason for such delay was because there were so many disgruntled customers at the check in that missed their flights prior to mine, such delay caused me to miss mine.forget about a refund, this airline would rather much hold disgruntled passengers hostage by forcing them to fly with them again rather than salvaging any customer service by giving me a refund.i found myself standing with10 other people with different flights from this airline talking to a phone rep. Worst customer service ever
