    I took this airline to fly back to Umeå (Sweden) from Frankfurt via Helsinki and it was a disaster. Everything went fine, but when we got on the plane and the boarding was completed we didn’t take off. No real excuses just the utterance of the pilot we have to wait from an okay from Helsinki. After one hour on the plane we finally took off, missing my connecting flight to Umeå. We got no information about new connecting flights, and had to run through the whole airport to find someone who could help. The new connection was so tight with all the transits that it was just stressful and barely managable to get every conncetion flight, leaving also no time to buy sth to eat. I hadn’t eaten for 9 hours. 3h later than planned I arrived in Umeå where my baggage wasn’t delivered, when it arrived the next day it was damaged. When I wrote later a complaint to them, they first answered weeks later and then lied to me about the delay being caused by strikes in Frankfurt which took actually place one week after my flight, everything just so they slip paying compensation.

    FINNAIR REALLY HAS ZERO VALUES OR CONSIDERATION TOWARDS YOUR CUSTOMER. HOW SMALL THEY MAKE A ’NO MEAL’ SOUND OR A SLEEPLESS NIGHT OF ZERO VALUE TO THEM! I am sorry that the previous reply didn’t meet your expectations and apologize all the inconvenience in your flights. Unfortunately we can not meet with your request and respectfully maintain with our previously offered compensation of 120 euro gift voucher. When business class upgrade is made the economy class booking and service like meal will be cancelled from the reservation. As the upgrades for flights Delhi to Helsinki and Helsinki to Delhi have been made less than 24 hours prior the flights confirming the special meals to mentioned flights has not been possible. https://www.finnair.com/int/gb/information-services/on-the-aircraft/food-and-drink-on-board/special-meals Unfortunately Finnair doesn’t compensate medical expenses. NO SLEEP! WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER IS A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF 120 EUROS. WHEN YOU CHARGE 430 EUROS FOR AN UPGRADE WITH NO MEAL AND FAULTY SEATS!     THERE HAS BEEN NO RESPONSE LET ALONE APOLOGY OR COMPENSATION FROM FINNAIR FOR WEEKS! FOR ALL THE INCONVENIENCE CASUED THEY REPLY AFTER WEEKS AND OFFER A PETTY SUM OF 120EUROS ONLY FOR ALL THIS TORTURE. SPEND 800EUROS IN UPGRADE TO BUSINESS CLASS BOTH WAYS ONLY TO BE STARVED AND SERVED NO FOOD ON BOTH THE FLIGHTS! MOST INCONSIDERATE AND RIDICULOUS AIRLINE!!!! 1. I WON THE UPGRADE BID ON 28/11 BUT FINNAIR’s SYSTEMS WERE DOWN FOR 2 DAYS AND I COULD’NT PAY FOR IT. THE UPGRADE WAS NOT AVAILABLE AFTER TWO DAYS. 2. On contacting your customer support from Estonia they said there’s nothing they can do and payment cannot be processed by them it has to be done online for the upgrade bid win. 3. I had to pay 430 euros from Tallinn to Delhi as they couldn’t upgrade us only on one sector from Tallinn 4. I had requested gluten free meal during reservations, on both the flights Delhi to Helsinki and return I wasn’t served gluten free meals. RATHER ON THE RETURN FLIGHT THERE WAS NO FOOD SERVED! AS THEY RAN OUT OF MEALS FORGET THE BUSINESS CLASS BUT I WAS NOT SERVED FOOD. 5. MY FLATBED WAS NOT RECLINING AFTER ATTEMPTS MADE BY CABIN STAFF I WAS ASKED TO SWITCH SEAT. I had to sleep next to a complete stranger who was smelling foul and breaking wind in his sleep. Which means no sleep on a long flight. Thanks to your airline! 6. They ran out of FOOD! There was no chicken or vegetarian meal. My friend and I were given starters and cheese. WHO IN THE WORLD DOES THAT FOR ANY PASSENGER. I had a Jet Airways air hostess give me her food when they ran out of meals in recent past. 7. The captain of the cabin took our details down and there has been no communication whatsoever. Shows how concerned you are towards a harassed passenger. 8. Thanks to no sleep and no food I fell sick and had run bills with the doctor due to hyper acidity attacks. Took me 10 days to recover and eat solid food. FINNAIR SHOUDL BE REWARDED FOR THE ONLY AIRLINE WHO MIS-TREATs CONSUMERS IN A WAY BY DEMEANING THE VIRTUE OF SERIOUSNESS OF THIS UNACCEPTABLE INCIDENT WHICH TOOK PLACE ON SUCH A HORRID GHASTLY EVENT WITH A FEMALE PASSENGER.
