wasted money on flying with fiji airways had a terrible experience with the crewfirstly they told us they are short of chicken and served fish and vegetable rolls and they sat down and wen service bells was on they still did not botherd to tell wat was wrong upon asking was told the seat belt sign was on so they cant move while the passegeers moved freely and there was no turbalance can the tourism minister or who ever is responsible look in pliz

Flew Economy
Boeing 737-800. Melbourne to Nadi 2/06/2014 00.30am. Flight was cancelled due to sick crew member – half an hour after it should have taken off! Ground staff handled situation terribly. Had to organise new flights ourselves. Managed to get seats the following morning on Qantas to Sydney. (No problems with this flight). Then back on Fiji Airways to connect on Sydney to Suva. This flight was 4 hours delayed…and Suva is not the best airport to land at in the middle of the night with no awaiting transportation!
Our flight home – Melbourne to Nadi was also delayed an hour.
Cabin crew were friendly, but that’s the only up side.
Never again!

Flew First
Worse Fiji airbus !!! I am not gonna fly with Fiji airways in my life !!! I rather spend $500 extra and fly in AIR NEW ZEALAND 777-300ER.

Hi Firstly I would like to express my opinion on the airlines logo. Looks very dull and sad. I hail from Fiji and liked the previous one better. Cannot even appreciate that logo from afar.
Secondaly , the airhostesses need to speak more and communicate more.
Thirdly , they took such a long time taking food trays back, passengers had to either take them back themselves or place trays away under the seat to move around and go to the toilets. I boarded flight from fiji to NZ- Monday morning.
Need magazines with crossword/ other puzzels

Flew Economy
Boeing 737-800 from Melbourne to Nadi departing at 00.30. We were told at time flight was due to depart that it was running late. Forty five minutes later we were told the flight was cancelled due to a sick flight attendant and therefore not having the minimum staff required for the flight. Waited a further 45 minutes before being able to leave the departure gate. No effort made by Fiji Airways to get us onto another flight. We had to arrange it ourselves and next available flight was 2 days later costing us 2 days of our holiday. On board service and entertainment was terrible at every level. Seats were ok.
