Fiji Airways

Very disappointing service .despite confirmed tickets we got told tht 15 passengers cannot fly as the flight is now fully loaded n our seats taken. Thn got told n given a voucher entitling us fjd350 pp as compensation to go into our bank acc in 2 weeks time plus being put on airnz after 4 hrs. Im still waiting for the compensation payment. Plus the rudeness with which we got treated on showing our urgency to go on same day was beyond disrespect to visitors in their country.

it was great but i wanted an vegeterian meal and also told them and they said it is finished and they just handed over the non veg to without asking me. It was really disappointing because i was fully vegeterian that time regarding to the culture.

I have just returned from a business trip from Nadi to BNE. I was in economy class aboard this new Boeing 737-800 jet DQ-FJN appalling service over all and I have flown them since they had BAC 111 aircraft many years ago. The food is crap and the service as well my flight QF398 a co share with Fiji airways. Now if you select a seat it cost you $28.00 FJD what a joke and a rip off. To over come that people should look where they sit as some flights are half full and find a window seat to sit in once up in the air. Also there is a big wait for the toilets only one operating in economy class. Very in experience cabin crew. I don’t know who trains them but they are not professional. I will never fly them again.

EDITORS COMMENT: We are certainly getting some very mixed reviews about this airline-. one toilet would have been a right pain!

I have flown thousands of miles on many different airlines but the warmth and comfort I get on a Fiji Airways A330 is something that even words will fall short to describe.

I really don’t understand why other people dislike this airline, but I for one was very satisfied on my 11-hour flight from LA to Nadi, the meals were of good quantity, and delicious.

The service was on par, and the Inflight Entertainment has improved so much more from before.

I am looking forward to more flights with this airline in the near future.

Flew the AA/Oneworld flight from SAV to NAN via LAX. The Fiji Airways flight was wonderful. Nice in-flight service and quiet cabin. The food was good and plenty of nice service and attention. Since the flight leaves so late in the evening, dinner is served almost immediately – thank goodness. Got about 7 hours sleep before being awakened 2 hours before touchdown for breakfast. Seats are not lie-flat, but ok. Don’t watch movies but noticed that some folks watched quite a few. The trip back from NAN to LAX was fine as well. Fights on time and nice service in a quiet cabin. Pay attention to your carry on size and weight, they are very particular about this. Overall, it was a good flight.
