Very disappointing… Etihad Airways wouldn’t credit my missing miles even if the oversight was on their part. I provided my Etihad Guest number upon check-in and it’s clearly printed on my boarding passes. I didn’t review my Activity History right away because I was confident that I provided my Etihad Guest number upon check-in and I trusted them to credit my miles accurately. That was my only mistake. I requested them to re-consider because again, the oversight was on their part, not mine. However, regardless of the number of times I followed up, they just kept giving me canned responses. I always used to post my photos aboard the Etihad Airways A380 Business Class on social media with a caption “my favorite cradle in the sky”… but… never again…

Airline is very discriminative and they treat their customers with no respect at all. they forced to stay in a very tiny room after cancelling my trip to Sydney and forcing me to take a flight to Melbourne. i would not recommend this flight for anyone especially that they treat you with violence at the airport and you have no right in the airport and you have to obey to whatever they offer you

We flew from Sydney to Abu .Dhabi. we stood for 2h to check-in. The staff were very inefficient, with long periods when the queue didn’t move at all. Many stressed people. The flight itself was fine, but cabin crew was inefficient. They were super slow at getting the meals out, they ignored call buttons and they didn’t even mention fastening seat belts over blankets so that they could check they were fastened. They woke us all up twice during this overnight flight, putting the lights on, to serve completely unnecessary snacks. On our connecting flight to London, once again call buttons were ignored and even when I went up to ask for drinks they were reluctant to serve me and refused to give me the normal snack with the drink, saying that sandwiches were about to be served (it took 30 minutes!).

We are loyal to Etihad Airways (I will be flying with them again in 2 weeks) but, unfortunately, I think we will stop soon. The service on board in always great, don’t take me wrong, it is a great company to fly with, but: their reward system is just horrible and always a pain… They never add our points when we upgrade to Business from Economy, we have been refused the club access 3 times while traveling with Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand even if, on the phone, they confirm we should have access as Gold Members. No, the club staff members/duty managers refuse because we are not flying with Etihad. Sending emails after emails to receive our points (to their claim team and gold members team) is so complicated for them, never a “we are sorry”, always and always the same copy/paste. We are still waiting for our points from LAX to SYD even after a month.. This is too much.

In a competitive airline industry it is highly important for airlines to retain passengers and give them an experience which always brings them back. On my flights with etihad after 11 years of flying with this same airline i was extremely disappointed with; Level of service from air hostesses Quality of seats Limited space Quality of food Shortages of food Failure of supply and demand of meeting childrens meals and activity packs Lacked organisational skills throughout This airline has greatly decreased its quality of services in many areas and to be competitive and highly successfull needs to address customer satisfaction to retain them in order to be sustainable.
