    @EtihadAirways refusing to pay customers a full refund on flights they(Etihad) have cancelled is quite simply theft.

    I have wasted countless hours on the phone only to be told my ticket is non refundable (what a surprise) and my flights have been cancelled……….

    but hey don’t worry (anything after a but is boll*cks) you can re-book without fee or get Etihad credit, Whoopeedo, both scenarios rigged heavily in Etihad’s favour, keeping your money in their bank for an extended period and then they will charge you a sh*t load more for a new or rebooked flights.

    I booked with Etihad expecting a little bit of class and unfortunately along with thousands of others have been royally shafted, they should change their name to Beenhad or Theftihad.

    In 2017, my husband and I chose Al-Etihad airline to go to the US from our home country. Our flight to Abu-Dhabi had a delay so when we arrived Abu-Dhabi airport, we missed our connecting flight. They refused to find another flight to the US on that day and instead found one for tomorrow morning. In Abu-Dhabi, Al-Etihad staff told us If you had American, British, or Australian passport, you could go to a hotel, otherwise you had to spend the night in the airport! They renewed our stay after 8 hours in 10 PM to cover up their unlawful action of keeping us more than 20 hours in the airport. For sleeping there were so many semi-coffin beds next to each other in one room. It was very terrifying to sleep in a room next to so many stranger people. On top of that staff were very rude and irresponsible. When we went to cafeteria to get some food with the vouchers, they told us: “Your vouchers are only good for bread and cheese!”. This was a big shame for Al-Etihad.

    worst trip in my life.bad food and rubbish customer service and rubbish handling to my luggage.
    2 out of 4 luggage were broken and i had to drag them and collect the content at Sydney airport to go to the other internal airlines with my kids and when i submitted a claim to the customer service They asked me to get it repaired and when i said that i live in a small town no one would repair a fully broken bag they replied back sorry you have to claim your money from the internal airlines.They will find any excuse to close the case.

    they are big liars and for everyone reading this think a million time before booking with Etihad and even it is cheaper they money you will save with them you will lose it in your luggage and the stress you will have during and after the trip

    The Etihad Passenger Service Agent separated 15 year old Minor kid separation from her mother ( Family separation )
    They have stranded my Minor kid at Toronto International airport at midnight on Aug 17th 2019 by Etihad airways check in agents. have caused me and my family mental trauma & a total unpleasant experience with the airlines. No Vehicle or transport assistance provided for women traveling with small kids during transit by Etihad airways .The airways did not  provide alternate solutions like suggestions of another flight, alternate travel arrangements , Car & accommodation etc in case of denial for my kids flight . Etihad Passenger Service Agents did not provide a valid denial reasons and also have stated false statement as “ no show “ for denial while we have showed up for boarding the flight on Aug 17, 2019 . They looted my money & didnt want to refund the money nor assisted with alternate flights.Very bitter travel experience &money waste

    I had a really bad experience with Jetsmart in Argentina. I was charged 57 USD in the airport for boarding with my backpack (less than 5kg) due to oversize.

    I have used exactly the same backpack in low cost flights in Asia, Europe, South America – and even a Jetsmart flight 5 days before – with no problem!

    I would not risk being cheated again, and I’d rather fly with Flybondi, Norwegian or even traditional and more expensive airlines in Argentina, after all, I did not pay a low cost for this fake low cost airline.
