we had awful experience with the airline and Airport.

We were planing to take off from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to Montevideo(Uruguay), we have searched and tried several times to reserve online through the website direct to Montevideo. Unfortunately,is not showing in the listed destination. So, we have reserved till Sao Paulo then connect to Montevideo with 4 hours transit flight by Latam (Brazilian airline).

We have taken off from Jeddah Airport to Addis Ababa
without any issue. However, once boarding for Sao Paulo started in Addis Ababa, their team did not allow us to board due to separate ticket purchasing (They, said
“final destination should by Montevideo not Sao Paulo ” they promised to support), we have showed them the check-in for flight from Sao Paulo to Montevideo but they did not listen to us at all, and they replayed “we will support you by reserving next day flight from Addis
Ababa to Montevideo”. We have asked them to hold our luggage’s from leaving to Sao Paulo and they agreed. After waiting for 4 hours without feed back. The Agent asked us to adjust our ticket by ourselves or go back in next flight and adjust the reservation from Jeddah. we have agreed to go back

It was an awesome experience flying on your airway from Lagos to Cape town on the 25 March 2017.
As a blind passenger traveling alone, I received a special treatment and guidance from bording to finish and the safety of my luggage was guaranteed.
The friendliness of the air Hostess was overwhelming, as I still remember the tiny female voice asking me time to time if there was anything I needed and that meant a lot to me, Hana Bayleyegne was her name. I had a variety of choices to make during meals.
At every interval when our flight connected, I never felt lost because there was always this person who led me to the next flight with a pleasant welcome and conversation, that seemed more like a tourist guide.
The take offs and landing were as smooth as I have never experienced and this compelled me to ensure that I shouted out to the Pilot on my exit, saying “thank you”.
I will be traveling back to Lagos on the 9 December and I hope to be treated as such again. Thanks

    Terrible experience

Flights schedules changed multiple times resulting in missed connection.
    Inflight customer service non existent.
Airport customer service one step ahead for being terrible.

    An ultimate rudeness and impoliteness.

B777 which I flew v old and a shame for Boeing that they have such aircrafts flying. Literally soiled seats with old configurations of aircraft. Worst of all, no cabin sanitizing or air treatment since there was a string unpleasant odour.

Airport is a disaster especially if you get allergy from unhygienic aircraft , there is no pharmacy, you can’t even find some strepsils or lozenges.

In short avoid this even if you want to go fromA to B free of cost.

I fly Ethiopian Airlines regularly and it is a very good airline, with a modern fleet. Their crew are friendly and caring. It is in the top tier of African airlines and comparable to Turkish Airlines and Thai, with customer service and standards better than many international carriers. Emirates, Etihad, Qatar and Singapore have better service and far more luxurious with far better airport hubs. In Africa, Ethiopian Airlines stands out as very good internationally.

Loved the aircraft itself – Dreamliner. Food was great, friendly staff and nice movies. Also, very good price and on time. I missed my plane on the way back because it was after midnight and I thought it was the next day and they only charged me £25 to change it for the next day flight. Nice!
