    Delta airline is the worst company ever. I had a ticket from Abu Dhabi to Washington via Rome and JFK. They cancelled the first connection without prior notice. I spent the overnight running with my luggage from terminal to terminal in Abu dhabi trying to know what is going on. Nobody knows what happened. I spoke with Alitalia the airlines that was operating the flight on behalf of Delta airlines. They did have my name on their list. They could not book me in another flight because they did not issue the ticket. Alitalia sent emails to USA delta call center. Nobody replied. I did international calls for more than 3 hours to USA call center, nobody replied. They waiting time as per the answering machine was 2 hours. Nobody called back. I booked another ticket with Etihad airlines and traveled to USA. At the airport , I spoke with the ticketing office. They spent 40 min to be connected to their call center. After checking my ticket on the system, she told me that they did not have my email on the system. I told her I am a sky miles member at Delta airlines and I am always receiving offers from Delta by email. She told me that they booked me in another flight 24 hours ago. She was lying because the notification I received for check in was on the second connection from Rome to JFK. I checked with Alitalia they was no booking for me one day before. Delta airlines is still investigating and are still thinking for giving me a full reimbursement for my ticket. Delta airline is the worst airline ever… delta airline has the worst call center. delta airline has the worst customer service. delta airline has the worst professional staff and management. They ruined my trip. They let me pay triple the amount of money for this travel. They made my life miserable.

    I will never fly with delta again. My original flight go canceled so I was moved to a flight the next day. However i was then put on standby for a flight leaving a little earlier than my original flight. My bag were moved to he new plane and everything. I got on the plane only to be moved off the plane because the system magically deleted people off the list so I was removed from the plane. Can you guess where my luggage is? No here with me, that’s for sure. I am now on standby for the next flight out because I do no trust leaving my stuff overnight in a different state, let alone an airport. 0 STARS TERRIBLE SERVICE

    What a joke this airline is. I boarded in New Orleans for a trip home to NYC. My mistake…….booking a flight based on cost. I had to book a flight on Friday for a Saturday departure so of course the cost was going to be high but I should have spent the extra money for Jetblue. Flight – The flight was more than a hour late leaving the airport and several passengers missed connection flights. I paid extra for a seat with extra legs room but did NOT sit in a seat with extra leg room. Thanks to airlines like Delta, I knew not to complain about this or I would find myself is some ridiculous confrontation with a flight attendant and sadly not come out on the winning side (conditioned for outstanding customer service). When we landed we did not have a crew waiting so we could not leave the plane. Connection Flight – No extra legroom seat again so I guess Delta can just enjoy the money they received for this. We landed early and was informed by the captain because we are early we needed to sit on the tarmac because we did not have a gate assignment. Without missing a beat, the flight attended come on the speaker to inform all passengers how Delta airlines is the most on time airline in the nation. Lets see here…….if the flight is early but we sit on the tarmac for 30 minutes due to a lack of gate assignment the passengers are NOT early, Delta is. We passengers did not get to our destinations early. Also, landing in NYC, NO crew so we could not get off the plane. Return Flight – First flight was fine….no extra legroom. However when we landed, AGAIN no crew so we had to sit and wait. Who is in charge of this?? Connection Flight – No extra leg room and a sloppy crew on the plane. As I am sure you can guess….no crew waiting when we landed so of course, we had to wait again. From this airline about all you should expect is to get where you are going. Do not expect to get there on time with anything more than very average customer service or organization. As we all know flight travel today is a mess but if I am going to have to give in the mess, I will pay a little extra to travel through the mess with nice customer service and clean planes from an airline like Jetblue.

    Worst airline ever, perfect MBA case study on what NOT to do if running a business. A flight from Boston to New York ended up being the worst flight of my life … my luggage never made it on the plane and then Delta decided to ship to La Guardia instead of JFK where i was. I was given a reference number for lost luggage and come to find out, they recycle those reference numbers. Gets better .. my luggage then gets shipped overseas .. here I am a year later and my luggage got lost. Of course they asked me to itemize everything that was packed in the luggage and they would compensate $500 or some ridiculous amount. Lesson learnt .. if you fly Delta, write a list of what is in your suitcase and don’t forget to keep receipts. Delta Operations is disastrous! If you board this plane and make it on time with your luggage .. consider yourself an anomaly! Delta Customer Service gets an ‘F’ … they provide Zero information.

    Booked a round trip flight. Plans changed and I arrived via a different route. I wanted to take the return flight, but was informed that I could not do that because I did not take the forward flight! Really?!? My options? Pay gouging price on a one way ticket which more than doubled the cost of the flight. So, I basically had 2 tickets for the same flight and Delta thought that was proper. Next time I’ll fly with another carrier

    EDITORS COMMENT: We don’t agree with the practice but that is industry standard. If you forfeit the first bit of the ticket you forfeit the whole ticket. This is the case for every single airline unless you are flying on an expensive fully flexible ticket.
