    Airbus A319-100 Frankfurt – Zagreb

but very comfortable A320, with the best legroom I’ve had and soft seats. Only one third full adding to the comfort. Nice sandwich and whisked to Split in only 1 hr and 5 mins. Return flight same quality despite full flight. Quick boarding and departing thanks to Zagreb Airport. The Crew were very friendly . All in all: good value for money (150 euro return), would definitely fly again.

We fly Croatia Airlines often from Paris, London, Amsterdam, to Zagreb. The planes are always clean and the staff efficient.

Morning flights out of Zagreb can be interesting as the black wine (Croatians don’t call it red wine) sometimes starts flowing as freely as the coffee and the mood in the cabin can become quite jolly.

At the larger European airports, we have sometimes had to wait in busses for terminals to clear… it is obvious that in the airline pecking order, CroAir sometimes has to take a backseat to larger carriers when things get tight.

Other than that, we’re very pleased with their service and comfort.

We flew on a Dash-8 from Zagreb to Rome, via Split. The aircraft was clean and the flight attendants attentive. Departure lounge in Zagreb could do with more seats and a food and beverage outlet (only one coin-operated machine available). The flight to Split was fine despite bumpy conditions. In Split you leave the plane, with your hand luggage and walk across the tarmac to the small terminal. Up and down stairs, which would be a problem if you had a disability, or if it was raining. Through personal and baggage security all over again (why can’t luggage be left on the aircraft?) and back onto the aircraft. Snacks, small, served in flight. Seats okay for short ‘regional’ flights. On landing in Rome, we were parked some distance away from the terminal and waited a long time for a bus to transfer us to the terminal – a reflection on Fiumicino inefficiency rather than on the airline. Would be happy to fly with Croatia again – particularly if attendants could smile now and again.

    Amsterdam – Zagreb.
The flight deprated on time, only 4-5 minutes delay due the morning rushhour at Amsterdam. The plane, a A319 was looking great, seats in the economy class are the new type that Lufthansa uses 2 that look like racing seats. It’s all good and fair enough. Price for the tickets was not bad 2 and the flight was direct. I dont have no real complains about the airline, both routes went with no problems and nice staff on board.
