Copa Airlines

My story with Copa Airlines is that I bought my ticket 7 months before my and my family’s travel when I arrived at the gate to board the plane I was down because according to one of my hand luggage was one inch larger and fell to my entire Family and they made me sleep 3 days at the san francisco airport and they made me come back to buy 5 tickets again if I could not travel it is a total fraud

We reserve to seat together as a family of 3 with copa airlines. At check in other seat not together were offered. New seat given at row 17. When getting the seats a person has been placed on one of our seats. Talk to 3 of the copa employee, all simply ignored us. My daughter of 15 years had to seat far behind. Lame service. Would never recommend.

Sep. 26 vuelo 304 Panama – Washington , Desatroso , nunca mas volare con Copa, en Panama no tienen prioridad para mujeres que llevantes infantes en brazos para abordar , encima de eso , hacen hacer doble final , una de chequeo requerida por el TSA de Estados Unidos y otra para abordar el avion , ya en el avion , puertas cerradas , hacen desembarcar del avion , cambiar avion , hacer nuevo chequeo de TSA , y hacer nueva fila para abordar otro nave , todo esto sin prioridad para mujeres llevando un bebe en brazos. La azafata respondio en Panama no hay prioridad ! Gracias Copa por el pesimo servicio , acaban de perder a un cliente frecuente !

This was the first time I travel with this airline and all I can do is to recommend NOT to use it, ever! They used a small aircraft for a long flight (7+ hours) and the seat is clearly narrower than other companies. I have traveled a lot by plane so I can be sure of that. The food quality is terrible. I had to take rice with beef twice and the beef aspect and taste resembled the canned food I give to my cat. Besides, they use one cart to distribute the food, so they will take 30-40 minutes to reach the last row of seats.
Nobody takes care of what happens in the aircraft: an old lady was locked inside the bathroom and I had to let know the staff to help her because they were talking in the back caring for nothing. Also the entertainment (movies, tv shows) is very poor.

Please do not fly with this airline. I flew from Rio to Los Angeles and this was the worst flight of my entire flight. First, the stop over was in some small city where they had to check us in again and we had to go through security again. They practically strip searched everyone. It took forever and the flight was delayed 2 hours. It was freezing on the plane and I got bronchitis. They didn’t have an extra blanket for me and someone took mine. It was just a nightmare the whole way through. Never again. Oh and the one way flight was $1600!!!! If I was a litigious person, I would have sued them for getting me sick.
