    FLY CEBU PACIFIC AIR AT YOUR OWN PERIL FOLKS!

    I was booked on flight 5J7296 route SYD-MNL on Dec 17 2015, at 1 pm to arrive at 5.30 pm that evening.

    The flight was delayed first to 3.30 pm then subsequently to 5.45 pm but staff had no explanation or more information for the reason why. We just waited in complete limbo frustrated hungry and thirsty!

    No refreshments were offered to the passengers, not even a bottle of water!

    We eventually took off at 6pm with the Captain announcing that he had no prior information about the delays/disruption and neither did staff and crew at Sydney Airport!. He then went further to surmise that this delays/disruption might have been caused by the previous flight having been diverted to Canberra arriving Sydney much later than scheduled. He said that flight regulations require crew to rest for 24 hours before flying again and so Manila staff should have communicated this to Sydney staff crew and more importantly to the passengers affected. He said that this was not done.

    Once airborne, the Captain announced that he would fly fast enough to get us to Manila at 9pm that night but we never actually landed until well after 10.45 pm!. That was a

    Flight was cancelled 2 weeks before the departure .. Manila to Caticlan,so they re-booked it without informing us, funny part is they booked manila to Kalibo..so i called to sort it out and they have nothing to offer me but to accept manila to Kalibo. if i wanted to fly to Kalibo i would have booked with Air Asia. no more Cebu Pacific for me. first and last time.

    One of the worst airlines I have ever flew. I understand, that CEBU is cheap Asian Airlines, but even AirAsia or RyanAir is much better than CEBU. There are many reasons for it. First of all – you can’t even imagine how COLD there are in the CEBU Pacific flights. Temperature in the plane is about +15 C. All people is putting their coats, pants and jackets immediately when they came on the plane, because it’s not possible to sit here with lighter clothes. And if you don’t have anything to put on you, for example – during your first flight with CEBU. You can always BUY plaid for 350 pesos. Regrettable behaviour of the airline to freeze their passengers.
    Second issue is entertainment during flight. You can’t even imagine, how are boring CEBU flights. I flew from Dubai to Manila and from Manila to Sydney (both flights took 8-9 hours), and there is completely nothing to do on the plane. There are no any LCD screen to watch a movie, there are no any electric sockets to charge your phone or computer… Seats are very uncomfortable, there is no possibility even to sleep because of various advertisements during the flight. And the third issue is that CEBU flights are always late. Always.

    When the APEC Summit came to Manila Cebu Pacific canceled flights due to the airport closure. However, they didn’t remove the canceled flights from their website so people were able to book canceled flights. Their website isn’t the best so I was proactive and prebooked my flight from Cebu to Manila (which was later in my trip) when i was in Puerto Princessa airport and had to pay cash because they wouldn’t accept creditcard. When I went to take the flight in Cebu they told me they couldn’t refund me unless I went back to Puerto Princessa. I was on my way home to Canada so I will never be back to Puerto Princessa. I have emailed Cebu Pacific regarding my refund and I haven’t heard anything from them. Terrible customer service, poor website and lack of planning on the airline.
