Flew Economy
Flew Perth -Hong Kong-Vancouver with out a break, worst seats ever, travelled with 3 others one persons seat would not go back, another person had faulty tv, person in front of ma had a seat with mind of its own, went back at any time for no reason. Flights back was a little better sit sat on the worst seats , thank god for the 4day stopover HK. Hope they upgrade their planes these were old and tired. Will fly via East Coast to get a better pick of airlines when flying out again north and east.

Very bad services, the bag drop services was unwilling to help and provide no information, will not fly with Cathay Pacific ever again.

Flew Premium Economy
Like others have said… always late and their staff are just rude… they have become a Chinese airline with Chinese service. Also as others have said you may get your seats reassigned. It happened to us in premium economy because just like they always do they changed aircraft last minute. As a result they reissued boarding passes and told us we couldn’t sit together. With attitude like this and uncaring staff on board going through the motions you may as well fly Air China. Whatever you do don’t book premium economy.. with so few seats chances are you will get reassigned with equipment changes and shouted at if you signal disconent.

Flew Premium Economy
Taken a couple of flights recently and overall I think Cathay is quite good, with the exception of the constant late departures of every flight. It appears to be quite “normal” for Cathay to leave 1 to 2 hours late, they always blame the late arrival of the flight, so it is a cascading event. I have given up rushing to the airport if I am flying Cathay.
Overall their service is good, food okay and lounges are okay, they quite often upgrade me which is nice.

Flew Economy
Considering we booked our flight 7 months ago and could not get a seat together I will NEVER fly with Cathay Pacific again since you cannot even allow for couples who book together to sit together! We were coming home from our honeymoon and I’m a nervous flyer so this completely ruined the end of our holiday. An absolute disgrace
