I travelled from Budapest to Rome via Brussels – all direct flights with other companies were fully booked or too expensive. Both flights were on time. We were given information about the gates for transfer during the first flight.
I would say that Brussels Airlines is quite successful combination between a low-cost company and a flag-carrier.

Very poor customer service. I did not see anything like that long time. No information provided if there is any issue. No number to call they do not reply on emails.

Plane was late taking off, ticket staff were rude and unfriendly re our baggage and damaged baggage claim has not been answered five days later.
I would not recommend this airline to anyone and I have flown with many different carriers. This was the worst for service and helpfulness. They seriously need to improve their customer service…it was disgraceful. The person who checked us through at the service desk was an exception.

Wildcat baggage strike at Brussels airport meant that we were without luggage for the duration of our trip.
Submitted a formal complaint 8 weeks ago without any response.
Avoid!
