    The online booking system is an awful mess, the confirmation email is written half in English, half in Romanian. We were flying from Bucharest Otopeni to Milan Linate: we were boarded late and still have to wait for over half an hour for landing. During the wait the staff just disappeared. On-board staff clearly extremely tired and the aircraft was really very old. For sure it is low cost, but I will never fly with Blueair again. The aircraft conditions were honestly frightening.

    Hello there,
    I want to share my experience with Blue Air.Probably the worst company I ever used, well actually I could not get on the plane.I was not allowed to. We have arrived at the airport in Bucharest at exactly 16.00 and take off was scheduled for 16.55. Standing at the line for 10-15 minutes and at the time I showed my ID at the check in desk. The totally unfriendly clerk just replied “its too late” and there were still 45 minutes to get on the plane safely then I was sent to talk to the clerk at the front desk same story. We were arguing for 10-15 minutes. Oh and the best thing nor reschedules or refunds are possible with Blue Air. Also the clerk replied that Blue Air does not care that there is still time to get on the plane. The check in was closed 5 minutes ago she said. Most definitely never flying or even thinking about this company. Wasted 500 Euros, because

    Terrible experience all around. From the poorly designed website, to its functionality and most importantly the service and the staff.
    Prior to my flight on July 19 I have purchased online the fee for a stroller (btw – who charges for a stroller!??) and a meal for a total of 34.50 euro. Printed off the receipt which clearly states the payment has been processed and showed it to the checkin staff at Beauvais (the sorry dump they fly from, 1hr away from Paris!). The told me flat out that they don’t have anything in the system and that if I want to board the plane I have to purchase that fee all over again, except they charge you 2x in the airport, so had to pay another 50 euro to board.
    Upond arrival I promptly attempted to contact their customer service which of course does not really exist. They wanted me to fill out a form online with no confirmation number. My Visa showed the charge was done on July 16 and has not been returned. Found out (by calling their number in Bucharest, for 0.65 euro / min!!) their complains get ‘resolved” in 30 days. Called again, was told to fill out another form to request a refund, but decided to just call VISA and cancel the payment.

    This was bar none the worst airline I have flown with. Flight Bucharest (Otopeni) -Barselona. Employees of airlines used their positions to extort. We had all the necessary documents, including the return tickets of another airline. But the staff refused to let me and my family on board as long as we do not have purchased return tickets of the Blue Air company. The damage amounted to 281 euros. On our complaint (written and electronic) management of the company does not give an answer. I will never fly with this company again.

    May, 2015, me, my husbamd and son (all citizens of Republic of Moldova) intended to make a flight Bucharest-Barcelona with Blue Air. We had all the necessary documents. Despite this, the staff of the airline Blue Air refused to register us, and admission to the plane. They explained their refusal by the fact that we had return tickets from other airlines (Spanish Vueling company), but not Blue Air.

    They argumented their refusal pointing that we all have tickets for our flight back to Bucharest with Vueling company, not with Blue Air. They verbally reffered to some “company policy”, according to which “Blue Air bears responsibility in front of Spanish authorities/border guards for our stay in Spain (?!).”

    On our request to present an official document in which it would be clearly stated that we must have a return ticket of Blue Air company, the staff was unable to give a clear answer.

    Blue Air staff was unable proof this “company policy” with any documental evidence. None of these “policies” can be found. As to the time for registration had been elapsing and about 40 minutes remained, we were forced to buy Blue Air tickets for Barcelona-Bucharest flight.
