Don’t trust them with your children…they are full if promises and lies unfortunately
I asked about assistance for a 13 yr old in London and was warned that istanbul were unreliable as 13 is considered adult…
Upon arrival at istanbul expect a single counter to be opened with 7 people checking your papers to enter uk, but one doing the air if check in.
Having waited 75 mins amongst all the coughing and moaning passengers, we were sent to supervisor of the handling company who could just utter a few words on behalf if atlas GLOBAL
25 mins of body gestures and discomfort on his part he called an atlas jet staff memeber .
He assured me that they will deal with my unwanted daughter both ends.
Yes you guessed it. Upon arrival into London no assistance, just cabin crew told her to disembark and follow everyone else.
So no assistance on file my point is this..what if the airline diverted or delayed flight, what if an event occurs they staff member in Istanbul lied to me.
    Carless and awful airline.
As for my daughter naturally her troubles dis not end as immigration do not let unaccompanied minors thru without pulling them aside and questioning an already upset 13 yr old.

Extremely bad experience with them. We were flying from Tehran to Stockholm and due to bad weather in Istanbul, our flight got cancelled the first day. The did not let us know no to go to the airport, so we had to wait for hours before the AtlasGlobal staff in Tehran figured out what was happening and what they had to do. They gave us a flight the next day, to Istanbul (they refused to rebook us via another destination, not affected by the bad weather). On arrival in Istanbul, we had to wait two more days, every time queuing to get new tickets, check luggage, go through security wait at the gate, just to get another cancellation. On the fourth day (!) we made it back home, without our luggages, which they could not reach. Their staff is extremely unhelpful, they do not know how to deal with any kind of out-of-the-ordinary situation and they are the rudest ones I’ve seen. They keep bounding you back and forth, lying to you (yes, really), just to get you off their backs and move the problem to somebody else. When they sent us to the hotel after the flight cancellation, we didn’t get any food or refreshments. Unless you really, really need to, DO NOT FLY WITH THEM.

Terrible customer service. Flight Fromm istanbul to Kuwait was cancelled. No reason given, they said it was “the government”. They rebooked us onto a flight 3 days later (after new year!) and were unwilling to put us up in a hotel or rebook us with another airline. After 5 hours of wrangling, they agreed to put us in a hotel (although they said to an Indian family that they wouldn’t do it for them). At the hotel, they only paid £3 per meal, which meant we were fed the same thing for theee days – lentil soup, chips and a bread roll. They were supposed to send a minibus to pick us up on the day of the flight. They didn’t. We arrived at the airport, three people directed us to the business class que as no one was waiting there, and given that we had been stuck for 3 days, we didn’t want to devote two more hours to queuing. Lady at the check in refused to check our bags in because we weren’t business class (still no one in the queue). She told us it wasn’t her problem. And now on our return flight, they have cancelled the flight again. Refused to rebook us or put us in a hotel. They said we have to speak to the agent, the agent says the airline haven’t sent the required confirmation.

We flew back to Luton last year from Istanbul.
We requested leg room seats at check in and they said that they had none left.
We also noted that they had a business class so asked if there wwre any seats available. For a minimum extra cost of £50. Each the resturn flight was cheaper than our flight out with ryanair to Athens and less hassle.
We sat at the front of the plabe in proper business class seats. Massive leg room and perfect attendance and service from the csbin crew and great food and beveragrs. This was a great end to our holiday and i would deffo fly woth them again in this section but probably not in economy as they are tight like any other airline.
    10/10 for my flight
