    WORST FLIGHT EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

    I used to be a frequent traveller on airasia. I booked a ticket(PER-COK) for the Xmas holiday 2014. However, due to work requirements I am unable to fly. I asked for a refund, they said no refund. I found a person who was travelling on the same date, but they said no ticket transfer either…. which is terrible. The ticket is worth a good amount as its Xmas (Yeah my bad I didn’t read the terms and conditions but I knew they used to have refunds till last year, as few of my friends had done)

    Saved a few bucks in last few trips, but going to lose all the savings on this one…. All in all just not worth with the crap seating comfort, no entertainment and poor service… I would not recommend it to anyone. In future I would go for a better airline May cost a few more bucks, but at least I have the peace of mind… they are not going to take away my hard earned money.
    (My last flight with Airasia was April 2014)

    EDITORS COMMENT: unless you buy a flexible fare no airasia ticket is refundable – they have never been refundable (unless the flexi fare was purchased)

    I was diagnosed with a medical condition that inhibited me from flying, I then applied for a compassionate request explaining my condition and providing all the necessary documentations such as medical certificate, letter from my doctor detailing my condition and my inability to fly due to this condition and even after this ordeal they still denied my request. No compassion what so ever. On top of this they had terrible communication skills and took much too long to reply to my many requests after filling out these “e-forms” numerous times!

    Absolutely ridiculous! .

    Hi AirAsia, I am truly disappointed with the level of service I have received. I tried to book flights and accommodation through your site for travel from Melbourne to Cambodia this is almost $4.5K. You have taken the money out of my credit card and have advised me that you cannot make this booking. When I asked to return my money you have advised this could take up to six weeks. I am going to make it my personal goal to write on every blog, media site and social network on the poor service I have received from you. The worst airline I have ever had to deal with
    EDIOTRS: trust us – you wont get the money a day before the 6 weeks is up – we know from experience….

    If they cancel your flight you won’t get a refund.

    That’s right, they can cancel your flight at any time and they refuse to give your money back. They cancelled my flight for ‘commercial’ reasons, which probably means not enough passengers. That was six months ago and still no refund. They don’t return my phone calls or emails. There is nothing I can do. Say goodbye to $500.

    Save yourself a lot of stress and fly with a reputable airline.

    Bad bad bad, the worst service i have ever dealt with and i still haven’t even boarded the plane yet lol.

    1. AA changed my flight to the next day, didn’t even tell me until i checked online that the ticket had been changed.
    2. I Have contacted there online centre 4 times now, not one person as contacted me back re my flight.
    3. I have now requested a refund, as i it is nearly impossible to speak to anyone from this airline , call the call centre LOL what a joke that is. Have requested a refund twice now, absolutely nothing, no reply. Good bye money

    And all this before i have even boarded the plane.

    I always fly the major carriers, but this time i thought ill save a few dollars and give air asia ago, what a huge mistake that was, who knows if i will ever see my refund again. Well it was a $650 dollar mistake, i have def learnt from it and will never even contemplate this airilne again and will tell every single person i know to avoid them. Id rather pay the full $1000 any day of the week with a reliable airline, than save money and fly on this joke of an airline

    And from what i can see online from all the reviews and abut 90% of them being negative , The word will spread how cheap and dodgy this airline actually is.
